Anyway I pretty much already made my point, just was throwing the Durant/Allen thing up since it illustrated the thought process more. Meant to add that to the post but hit send by accident

Did I say this?

That is my point, you wouldn't jus blindly base things on resume, longevity etc

Sometimes it is obvious to you a guy with a limited sample size is of that stature in terms of talent/impact and when analyzing that is all I'm really look at.

Enfuego onto a more interesting subject, I bet you bump that Eminem song going 90 down the highway all day and when the R Wilson lyric comes on just blast that

We don't agree on your point. No worries. It's a good debate.

LOL, I'm a country and rock fan. I only know the song "lose yourself" by Eminem. I don't listen to all that rap and hip hop bullshit.

Because you are trying to historically rate players when it isn't really applicable to what I am talking about but I

But if one kid out of a hundred million
Who are going through a struggle feels and then relates, that's great
It's payback, Russell Wilson falling way back in the draft
Turn nothing into something, still can make that, straw into gold chump

There you go

Na, I'm just calling it as I see it. Jimmy Graham needs more than two great years in the NFL to be called one of the best TE's in NFL history.

Victor Cruz has put up some awesome numbers as well but he's not great and not one of the best WR's of all time. He needs to show some consistency and longevity.

Is this the lyric you speak of?

Agreed. I think they finally want to limit the exposure(for what 3 games are worth) on RG3...in an attempt to trade him this off season.

RG3 made his name because Baylor became relevant with him at the helm. As it turns out Nick Florence & Bryce Petty have elevated the program to even greater heights. RG3 was a systems QB afterall!

Yeah that's it. Not the most interesting thing in the world but R Wilson definitely a hot topic to be in a Eminem song getting the shoutout

What's funny is whether you like the Hawks or not, everyone seems to be a fan of Wilson and what's not to love? He's taken the city of Seattle by storm and we've never ever had a pro athlete in Seattle (maybe Steve Largent) that has given us hope like this guy. We actually think we can win with this guy.

Shit, my fault, Griffey Jr. did as well.

And for the record, R. Allen and Durant are both great scorers. Both really fun players to watch. Very different players who bring a ton to the game.

For the record, Jesus shuttlesworth is a great shooter, not scorer.

Guy has averaged 19.2 PPG over a 19 year career. I'd say he's a bit more than just a great shooter.

Im im not saying he isn't a good player but there is no comparison between ray allen and Kevin durant when it comes to straight up scoring. They guy has won the scoring title 3-4 years straight.

Out of ray allen 19 seasons only 9 have been over 20 pts ppg. That's still good but not Great. Kd hasn't averaged anything under 20 ever.

Good but not great doesn't make you a sure fire first ballot HOF inductee. R. Allen is a great NBA basketball player.

You said scorer. I simply said he is not great a scorer but a good one. You are now saying great "player".
