"on the road" is not a place.
when you say a guy is this and that on the road, it means far less than you think. "away from home" could be a thought, but each place you play is much different and a pitcher pitches at each different stadium so infrequently that it doesnt matter as much as most care to think. Especially dont worry about this when you are talking about a vet pitcher. Good Pichers know how to get people out, poor ones struggle. playing at oakland and playing at Baltimore are very different but many of the capper would call it "on the road". wipe that from your thinking.
systems are used for matchups, in game matchups
dont play a system b/c its the 3rd dog in a row on a wednesday. dont play a system b/c line movement in says to play it. baseball is a game of matchups...one on one. there isnt a team calling plays and its not 5 on 5 or 11 on 11 each play. not capping the pitcher is ridiculous and can not be justified. U have to take into consideration the person that has the ball 40$ of the game and will be limitting ot enhancing the other teams ability to hit it and how hard. you base a system on the in game matchups to try and decrease risk of loss, dont go by a system that detemines your play without looking or knowing who is pitching and playing.
They stink vs lefties.
everyone stinks vs lefties b/c lefties have to be better pitchers and lefties are seen less often. going against mostly right handed bats you have to be more talented and you are seen less often which is tougher on most everyone. hell casey fossum is tough to hit this year...but sometimes he walks a lot of people. Left handed pitchers pitch more often to righties than lefties, left handed pitchers are seen less by righties than right handed pitchers...all factors work for the elfties to be successful and most teams to "stink vs lefties". but you have to look at who the lefty is...is the lefty liriano? well if they just played the twins, Os, and TB you are likely to find a team that sucks ve lefties, thats just how it is. even the kid jeremey sowers is giving people trouble and he doesnt feature +++ stuff. Dont tell me a team sucks vs lefties...tell me who they got beat by and then who they are playing. kenny rogers and John Santana are both lefties but you better not cap a game generalizing the two and play for kenny rogers b/c santana/bedard/and Kazmir lit up some team and now they are vs a lefty in rogers...na ah, bases dont work like that.
stop generalizing, its not capping, its just talking and trying to make a play fit
bol today and for the rest of the month
