The Code of Hammurabi actually predates the Ten Commandments, but written laws aside common sense says stealing is wrong and has probably been considered punishable by severe beatdown since the beginning of time. Your assertion that God and Moses get's credit for that one is ridiculous, and since its OT anyways I assume you consider the commandments to be a list of hyperboles. Correct?
