Sorry you are going by the site which has him advancing... well that's weird.

Seymour - this isn't your league and it's not stated anywhere in the Yahoo settings. Willie seems like a reasonable guy, I will defer to him.

Hey man I wasnt trying to put my opinion in but I know how it gets graded and it happened in this specific pool that Willie has been running in the past and a bunch of people got knocked out

now what really sucks is that Willie has hos own league rule where if you are involved in a tie it counts as an automatic 2 loss elimination from the pool

It was graded a win by Yahoo, but I have to think that's a mistake.

My ruling? Whatever the rule says in our contest on the Yahoo site. We never discussed this rule and I never established a rule different than what Yahoo says. I'm going to research this now

As commissioner, under "edit settings", these are the rules I establish. As you can see, we can't change the definition of a win or a loss

I can't find yahoo's "Official Rules", it's free and it's generic, but I will say that it describes Survivor Football as picking a "winner" to survive.

I'm leaving it up to Yahoo. I have to. If they grade Pitt and Cleve as a winner in all their contests, then it's a winner in our contest. But I think it's a mistake and Pitt will be graded a loser in the morning

In other news

I removed Gleng from the contest, he never paid and he never made a selection for week 1 either. Guess he changed his mind

Another poster, kywildcat1212, tried to join in the last hour after I left home. I saw his PM at like 12:50, told him how to join and told him he had to pay by 1:30. At 1:03 PM, he told me he missed registration by 1 minute and he said his pick is the Ravens if I could still get him in. I was going to ask you guys about this, but it doesn't look like I can make him an official entry on Yahoo and I would have to keep track of his picks in this thread. He would have to be OK with that process too. But I'm leaning no now unless everyone tells me to let him in and he's willing to notify somebody with his picks before the deadline.

We have 16 participants registered with Yahoo and paid

Yep, eventually the site is going to grade them both as a loser - happened here in 2016 with the Bengals and Skins

I'm going to assume wildcat hasn't paid you yet? If the answer is no, do you think he would have paid you had he taken the Saints? It's also kind of potentially opening ourselves up to being freerolled(imagine if everyone had taken the Saints, except him, and he hadn't paid you yet). I'm sure some people would have an issue with that.

It only takes one person to have an issue with it in my domain my friend

I won't change anything after establishing a rule without unanimous consent

Willie needs unanimous support - unless I'm involved - what I say is the law of the land - capiche?

Well can I have my 500 back from 3 years ago?

I lost and get eliminated when I believe the panthers tied someone in week 3 or 4 about 3 years ago.
