Picks reset for the playoffs, I'm 99.9 % certain. They have to since most of the playoff teams would have been taken

If NOT, I'll reset them, but I won't have to do that

For what it's worth I've won 2 separate pools on different sites where it didn't reset. You had to have a team for that given playoff week or you were eliminated. Major strategy came into play late in the year. I actually had no idea any site would have them reset. Reseting teams would just be starting a brand new pool and takes away from the point of picking each team once. I think for the future we should end it at week 17 and whoever is left chops the pot.

I know three of us were tied two years ago, and I know the biggest concern we had after the first two weeks of the playoffs was that you would have to use the potential SB winner just to stay alive, and none of us liked that. That's when we split. We were all tied though, nobody had a one game advantage

I don't mind ending it after week 17 NEXT year, the money could be prorated based on strikes left. If 3 remaining teams have 1, 1 and 0 strikes, there are 4 strikes remaining. The person with no strikes gets half the money (2/4), the other two get 1/4 each (or something like that)

For this year, all remaining participants would have to unanimously agree to something or the contest continues

Next year you should have to pick 2 teams 3 weeks out of the year like week 8, week 12, and week 16.

Honestly this is the reason I quit this contest .

That's what I had in mind (prorated based on strikes), but I'm all for what the people want. Now that you mention that, I do remember yahoo reseting and I was surprised being I had never seen that before.

Let's remember, only one year went into the playoffs so far, and this year still has 4 weeks to go with only three guys left

Since this is a $ 500 contest, I want to extend the season for people, not shorten it. Hence we have two strikes.

We could do something like making two picks a requirement late in the season, like weeks 15, 16 and 17. I also don't think resetting and going into the first two weeks of the playoffs is a bad thing

PM me payment data

Do the two guys who tied for 2nd place want to keep playing? or do you want $ 250 each (both guys have to agree to keep playing)

Thanks for another year of running the contest. I live in Pittsburg and love the Stillers but today was a great day to lose (even though I had them in Supercontest) lol

Willie, I'm assuming everyone got paid? haven't logged in for a while.

Kinda glad you handled the money now with all that stuff going on with BAS since he held ours one year as well.

Weird stuff going on out there in the Contest threads.

Everyone was paid, and paid promptly IMHO :)

It is the first year there was no co- treasurer, and between this and the fantasy league I was holding 11k. Kinda sucks when you don't win a penny :)

Poster Curt, who went by Vars24, was the last guy paid because he was the last guy to PM me, and he was only owed $ 250. As I posted on December 27th, everyone was pop aid except him. He responded on Jan 12th and he was paid that day. ( maybe the next day)
