They both offer some value for posters looking for bonuses and teasers (Mill) and betting options (5Dimes) but if these are not important to you, look elsewhere.

The only thing surprising me anymore is regular posters bitching about things on these sites that have been brought up before. Take some responsibility and research a book you are going to deposit. There must be 20 posts in the last 3 months about their customer service and slow servers.

Put in your bets early and stop bitching bc everyone knows the issue.

5dimes advertises here and they have yet to adress anything about this or other numerouse threads about their service or lack of. I still play there, and will continue because I do well there when ican place a wager, but damn Tony...come in here and adress these issues!!!!

I agree that propbet is MUCH faster. Around gametime, using 5dimes.com is flat out impossible. But also, if you notice my original thread, I WAS using propbet and still had problems.

I usually use Bodog and Pinnacle, but had hit my weekly limit with Neteller, so was confined to Firepay. If Pinny would ever take Firepay, I'd never go anywhere else. I had lost a ton playing Bodog poker, so decided to reup with 5Dimes to avoid the temptation (still playted BJ anyway - ahhh). I hadn't played with them since October. Now I remember why. I think I bitched about their slow server times on here back then too. Oh well.

I should add taht if I have bets in advance, I have few(er) problems with this book. They do offer some great options and props, as well as allowing some nice paralys. And like maxdemo, I tend to do well here and that occasionally brings me back.

BUt as soon as I can get my money out, or as soon as my Neteller weekly limit frees up, I'm back at Pinny.

I don't know if this is JUST starting, but they certainly do not offer 1st 10 minutes on "all" NCAA basketball games, at least as of yesterday. I'll have to check this out, as I love this bet and do very well with it. In game wagering? Am I missing something? Or do they call their halftime bets "in-game"? LOL. I have NEVER seen a bet available on the second 10 minutes of a game as they indicate above. Maybe the first 10 minutes of the second half, but never a "bet on the next 10 minutes."

They DO NOT have 10 minute lines on every game...only the ones that are televised nationally on ESPN and the Fox Sports Net!!!

1st 10 minutes is my favorite play of all their CBB wagers...easiest play is the 1st 10 minutes under hits about 65-70% of the time...it really does

Is it my imagination, or did the server problems at 5Dimes get much,much worse when they revamped the site a couple of months ago? I never really had a problem before then and my bets were almost exclusively halftime wagers.
