Wow, what a start to the season for the Rays. Tigers, Nationals and Athletics to open the year. Some sportsbooks are offering a wager for which team will have the best record in March and April combined. One book I don’t have access to had them at 14/1 this morning. They could be 9-0 after this weekend. That might not be a bad bet, if you can find it.

Yeah at this point it would be a disappointment if they dont sweep Oakland

Tough scheduling spot here for Toronto. They finished their series in KC yesterday and had to fly to California to start this series tonight. Meanwhile, the Angels had yesterday off and were home resting.

Another good day continues the strong start to the season. Unfortunately, the night ended on a sour note. Herget had another bad outing coming out of the Angels bullpen. LA hit the Blue Jays setup man hard, but couldn’t get Ohtani in after a leadoff double. Bullpens are volatile, as we all know. I’m happy with the day overall, I will try to keep rolling tomorrow.

Should have been 4-1 if the Reds didn’t make a mess of the ninth inning. Still, I’m happy to turn a profit again today.
