out of 25 games this year anaheim has only played 10 on the road and have a record of 3-7. they won the first 2 games of the year on the road and then since then have gone 1-7 with the only win against the blues. they have 6 straight losses on the road and all by 2 goals or more. tampas offense has been on fire at home and hitting on all cylinders. hard to see anaheim staying in this game.

detroit started the year losing their fist seven games. since then they have somewhat leveled out. they have had tough competition recently and get the luxury of playing a bad st louis team at home. i think they get it done tonight. detroit is bad, but much better at home. st louis has only 2 wins on the road this year. at even money i like the red wings at home

really didnt expect detroit to pull out the win after blowing a 3-0 lead. happy for the win none the less.
Winnipeg -1.5 +125 2 units
chicago has given up 90 goals, only ottawa is worse. winnipeg coming off a tough loss to pittsburgh should right the ship at home. see a pretty comfortable win here for winnipeg so will go with the + money option

winnipeg had a 3 goal lead in the third but couldnt keep the 2 goal lead. sucks but thats gambling
Tampa -135 2 units
new jersey has been very impressive at home, they have also been a team that plays well against tampa. that being said i think that gives cause for tampa to not take them lightly. tampa truly is one of the best teams in the nhl yet again. i was low on the devils to start the season and i will stick to that.

pitt at home should get the offense going but their defense is still suspect to me

buffalo/toronto under 6 +105 2 units
offenses get all the credit and a bunch of big names on both teams but i think the defenses are underrated and dont get enough credit for both teams

great start to both games but the buffalo game had a lot of late scoring to go over
San Jose in regulation +115 2 units
much needed home game for the sharks after a bad road trip. expect them to take care a business at home against the hurricanes who have some firepower but arent the same team on the road

Calgary in regulation +115 2 units
Minnesota is just starting a tough road trip and play a calgary team that can score. they havnt taken a road game to overtime yet this year and havnt even played an overtime game since oct 20. calgary keeps coming out you offensively and have multiple lines that attack. minnesota scored 3 power play goals last game to beat vancouver but in 5 on 5 they looked average. i think calgary enjoys an in regulation win so i will take the positive $ again.

not hard to understand why someone would like winnipeg and st louis is less than impressive this year. i think winnipeg takes care of business at home. i parlayed it with army to eliminate the juice but to also provide a hedge tomorrow so i can enjoy the game hopefully. dont want to get ahead of myself but i will take navy ml at some point tomorrow if it guarantees profit. this will be the only one that counts towards any record though. if winnipeg loses tonight i will just enjoy a great game tomorrow.

2 good teams at home playing 2 bad teams who are terrible in scoring differential. not gonna overthink this one, i know the juice is high on each by themselves so thinking each takes care of business at home.

not gonna overthink this one. pittsburghs offense at home is different than on the road and chicago defensively has been horrific all year. hoping chicago can get 2 or in because i think pitt can put 4 or more on the board.

Carolina has had scoring trouble recently and montreal just got embarassed last time out. I expect montreal to bounce back nicely at home with Carey Price back in net after Niemi got lit up. the middle to bottom part of the metropolitan division is pretty bad and pretty soon it will be obvious to the rest of the league. caps, pitt, and columbus are the only teams that could make a run this year which is so different from years past and even that assumption could be too much. after the top 3 the rest of the division is really bad imo. the rest of the league should feast when they meet these metro teams

winnipeg has scored 6 in each of their prior meeting. chicago has scored 5 and 3 but lost both in winnipeg. i like chicago to score and possibly win but they are so bad i dont like putting faith in them. i see chicago getting 3 at home and since they havnt shown the ability to stop winnipeg from scoring this game looks like a 5-4 type. i see both teams getting 3.
