they have started to come into form and starting to play like a solid team. carolina is off to a nice start but i suspect they come back to earth as the season progresses where as i suspect san jose continues to ascend

tampa/toronto parlay 4 units at +168
vegas still getting respect for last year but not playing well to start. toronto not great at home but vegas is not great on the road. tampa to me is the best team in the east at least right now and a tough back to back for edmonton after playing washington last night.

just a better team than pittsburgh right now. tampa has lost 2 in a row but pressed very hard against buffalo and if not for hitting the post multiple times in the third i think they win that game. pitt will likely be there at the end of the season but for now they are still figuring it out. lot of miscommunication of defense and the lightning can make you pay better than most teams. not a fan of the hagelin trade for pearson either. neither had been playing well but thats an important line for pitt with malkin and kessel which may take some time to gel.
