Chiefs -3 (+110).......$500 to win $550

I think the Chargers blew their juice making a great come back to get us the money last Saturday........

Also, the NFL loves drama.......I think the Ravens sneak in, or possibly the Texans or the long shot Chiefs?

No way will I try to figure out that puzzle of craziness for the last AFC wildcard spot........

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (vs. San Diego)
San Diego clinches a playoff spot with win
Kansas City clinches a playoff spot with win + BAL loss (at home) to Cleveland + HOU loss (at home) or tie to Jacksonville

Baltimore and Houston both lose at home to Cleveland and Jacksonville? That would be a trip.

I didn't see all your sides, what do you think of Bufallo+5 at NE (Pats nothing to play for) Atlanta-4 hosting CAR (win or go home, ATL with good momentum, results L5) and Oakland getting (hopefully) 14.5 at Denver? Da Raidaz historically competitive in Denver, likely Woodson's last game and he commands that DEF or at least the DBs, CBs & Safetys....Manning Rubber-Armed, Broncos evolving into a ground team anyway....surely you gotta like OAK + the hefty DD in this spot, right?

Congrats on the win in the CFB Contest. As I said in the other thread I was pleased to see someone with the handle "The Computer Group" win, felt to me anyways like a toast to the original boys who beat Vegas with a rented stick back in the 80's....in large part due to owning College Football. In 1984 they were down for the year but closed out 85% in College Football Bowl games to eek out +$83,000ish for the Season

I've got a cool story about Billy Walters .......I was in Las Vegas in 2002, I've always wanted to go & it was my 1st time there in 2002 for 3 months to bet football, been back again several times, but in 2002, I didnt know who the Computer Group or Billy Walters was.

Fast forward to Thanksgiving weekend......I walked into the Stardust on the Tuesday or Wed, before Thanksgiving, walked up to a teller that I became good friends with & proceeded to wager on the Titans over the Giants game.

He quickly pointed out Billy Walters & said, that's the best sports bettor in the history of Vegas.......I asked who is he? He said his name.......noe Billy had been to my friends window & bet 4 college games & 1 NFL game 3 college games for $5,000 each & 1 college for 10k & the NFL game for 10k.

The teller couldn't give me the games because the sports book manager was eyeing him the whole time......the sports book manager also came from behind the counter to shake Billy's hand. .....anyway, my friend the teller told me to come back the next day & he would give me the games.

I ended up going back to my place (Candlewood Suites, next to Mortons Steakhouse & across Terribles Casino) & proceeded to find out who the Billy Walters was online........I read everything I could find, & was amazed that there was a group of guys that took the Vegas profit of 12% a year down to 4% on sports betting, but I loved it.

Next day I went back to the Stardust & the teller gave me the games, I handed him a $100 & told him thanks. I bet $500 on the 1st game just to see what this guy was about, an easy winner. So then I bet a 4 team parlay for 1k with the remaining games.......I wasn't a big college player, so I didn't put much on the remaining college picks.

All 4 college games won........unreal my thinking was.......then game the NFL game which by the way was my own biggest play of the week with 3 different system plays on it. Billy Walters game happened to match my pick, so I went nuts.

Had a total of 13k on it after seeing him go 4-0 in college, & I had the 4 team parlay going for 1k paying 11-1........

McNair was questionable all week but played.......Titans were down 10 with about 6 min left, the Titans came storming back to score 13 pointsin 6 min & win the game by 3.......I was beyond ecstatic......

Fast forward to 2008, I ordered the book, "The Smart Money" which describes a runner who worked for Walters, its a great book, everyone should have it........anyways, that's why I put the name as my handle on here........I'm in no way affiliated with Billy Walters, but it was fun in Vegas.

I've got a cool story about Billy Walters

It is certainly that!

You're "lost" lol, after that hit there. Don't even bother with Psychiatry or any other means of breaking free of being a Degen Gambler, theres no hope. It was introduced into your DNA that day....during those 6 minutes in which The Titans put up 13 to cover. Resistance is Futile. We just have to hope it never comes to a place where you desire to get free. Ya GOTTA get better on the Money Management LOL!!!! :) so it don't become a problem cuz you've no hope of escape.

Its cool of you to pay homage to The Masters which, as I mentioned in the other thread were interfered with by an over-reaching Government maybe just doing the bidding of those behind The Curtain who were on the paying out side of their winning wagers. Politicians or Pawns...thats most of us here on this rock for such the short time that we are. To this day I don't even know what they were charged with. I could get told some words, some statute but I still wouldn't comprehend what The Boys crime was....whatever the guv calls it it pales by comparison to real and actual crime.

Thank You for honoring them & for doing so with the W in a College Football Contest. Can't help but ponder on if there wasn't some "Divine Guidance" handed you lol cuz The Computer Group certainly belongs at the top of a CFB contest.

It was a great time out there.......awesome book man, a must have.......I have a friend out in Vegas that's always telling me to go out there to live, can't do it tho, like to be around family.

I'm waiting for the day sports betting becomes legal here on the east coast.

The article I'll link to below, if you've not read it already of course, is a great place to start, as you hunt down the book. And it really doesn't mess up the book read cuz thats from a boots on the ground perspective while the article deals with pretty much everything else.

Accuracy? As you'd expect, various players for various reasons will have differing opinions on that but whatever....whats for sure is that it's quite an in-depth article, much more than basically 100% of the very few other articles that exist many (really most) of which got stuff completely wrong or just skimmed the surface.

I understand, from the other thread, you've got your 5 for the LVH Mini. Good Luck. Here's a nice read, Old School Vegas....read this maybe them Gambling Gods will smile on ya Sunday....whatever happens, its Week 17 fer chrissakes just put in your most +EV plays and don't stress. It accomplishes nothing. peace.

As for going to Vegas, I've been there twice for football season & I wish I could come out again, but I highly doubt I will be out for the bowl.......if I do come out again, it will be from Sept to Dec......I just don't come out for a week or weekend.

I also drive out.......
