Certainly the play at the end of the 1st half was the difference maker.

AZ had 2 turnovers, Pitt had 1.

Ok, I guess you are right if you count that fumble on the last play ....the rest of what you said I cant really argue with. And the Cards could have made a stop on the last drive which they didnt do which gets the NFL off the hook since people will talk about the great catch to win it or the great 4th quarter

So how much does a title cost nowadays? I am thinking they wouldn't charge Tomlin as much as Cowher since he wasn't as desperate

Anytime the officials blatantly give you 3+ points, you should win. I didn't think a Super Bowl could have worse officiating than XL, I was wrong.

Are you serious?

Wake up in the morning and then discuss it. Every call was a good call.....

Whether the calls were good calls or bad calls is not important. The calls against AZ were momentum changers. Many will tell you that in the NFL you could potentially call holding on every other play. I seriously doubt that the Stealers offensive line wasn't holding here or there. Tempo can be controlled by stripes.

LMAO Momentum. If I needed any proof that momentum is meaninglass it was this game. The Steelers had momentum where Harrison scored at end of half. Cards had momentum when Fitzgerald scored his long td. LOL Momentum.

I love how someone with the title of asufan is calling me biased. Hilarious.

The Dansby flag was one of the few questionable calls and I disagreed with it.

FWIW, I thought there was an IBB on the Breaston punt return but whatever.

It was a well-called Super Bowl. Come back tomorrow with a clearer head.

A terrible call that led to 3 points. There were ibb's on the touchdown return too.
Are you implying you aren't biased with your sn, dumbfuck?
Seriously. Stick to stripping in front of a bunch of guys, fatass.

I'm a Steeler fan but I look at them objectively. See the threads where I thought that Baltimore would win the North this year and where I thought Balto would beat Pitt in the AFC Title game.

Also, awesome job bringing up something I did two years ago as an undergrad. I'm sure you've never gotten into a fight or did something embarrassing in college. How does something stupid I did relate to my football knowledge? Oh, it doesn't. Right.

The officiating wasn't very good yesterday, but I'm not sure they changed the outcome. Actually favored AZ down the stretch.

2005 vs the Seahawks? that was a grand theft. That may have been the worst and most one sided officiating in the history of the NFL.

There is no comparison between the two games.

Could care less who won--but it was FAR from a well-called Super Bowl. Bad calls were made on BOTH sides--esp AZ

it was a well called game. people arguing otherwise are just either a) too hard on officials b) a blatant arizona homer or c) a blatant steelers hater who bet on arizona.

steelers were the better team, the game was called correctly and the steelers won.

i think card fans are just upset because they know the team came so close and they aren't getting back anytime soon whereas the steelers will be contenders again as soon as next season, although i wouldn't put them as the favorite in the afc.

our? so what was your role in winning those titles? is this bettis, cowher, maybe even big ben?

stop calling it "our" or saying "we". you did nothing to win a title, the players and the coaches did. "you" won jack shit.

Exactly. Seattle was railroaded vs. Pittsburgh, worst officiated game of all time. Yesterday as I had mine on Arizona & until the 4th Q I thought the officials definitely favored Pittsbugh but it evened out as Arizona got a few in their favor which helped their cause. Especially the safety play when if the penalty was not called (and some ar not) the game was over.
It was the last play of the first half that won the game for Pittsbugh not the refereeing!
Fitzgerald is fun to watch!
