The former Iowa grocery sacker is doing well for himself.

I guarantee HY-VEE misses his work ethic.

Gotta give it up to Warner...if he goes to a third Super Bowl I would say he is a lock for the HOF...not bad for a grocery sacker

I like it...But that's probably not a good sign....I expect a close game, so maybe the points instead.

my 2 cents.

IMO the Eagles Defense will stop the all of sudden effective Cards running game (71 attmepts in their last two games) but The Eagles have allowed only 10.8 PPG and just one TD pass in their last six games. The Cards ability to run the ball gives them some badly needed balance but it won't help much against this Philly defense.

The Eagles Def Coordinator Jimmie Johnson knows how to beat The Cards and that is to harras Kurt Warner with blitz packages, an area where The Eagles excel as well as any team (even Pittsburg and Baltimore) in the NFL.

Bottom line look for Assante Samuels or Brian Dawkins to make a big play on dee in the secondary and The Eagles pass defense featuring Darren Howard and some excellent linebackers to shut down The Cards passing game with pressure and their running game with hurry up. Johnson will show nickel and even dime packages to Warner almost every play, they are not concerned about the Cards running game.

On offense there is no telling how many points The Eagles can put up in perfect weather and all their key players healthy. Eagles wide receivers caught 197 passes in the regular season, which was the most in the Andy Reid era. They’ve caught another 25 in their two playoff wins, including 12 in Sunday’s 23-11 divisional-round victory over the top-seeded New York Giants. The Eagles had four wide receivers catch more than 30 passes.

Eagles win comfortably but they own the 4th quarter if the game happens to stay competitive all the way.

That is how I see the game anyway. FWIW I hope Arizona wins the game as a fan because I have never liked the Eagles since the 60s. Gambling is another story, the team I bet is my favorite team for that particular game.

Kurt Warner likes God. God likes Kurt Warner. Today is Sunday. Sunday is the Messiahs day.

Brian Westbrook

Rotowire.com: Westbrook (knee, probable) will start Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Cardinals, ESPN’s John Clayton reports.

The Eagles hate you also...

When I first became a NFL fan living in New England in the very late 50s and early to mid 60s the home team for us were The New York Giants.

Every Sunday it was The Giants who we got on local TV plus they had an exciting and winning team back then with players like Frank Gifford, Sam Huff, Y.A. Tittle, Alex Webster, Rosey Brown, Andy Robastelli, Dale Shofner, Mel Triplett and Rosey Grier etc.

One of their divisional rivals was Philadelphia so naturally The Eagles became the enemy second only to the then Western Division perennial champs and somewhat stronger team than the G-Man the Vince Lombardi coached Green Bay Packers.

While The Eagles were only disliked by New England Giant fans The Packers were hated as they beat The Giants in the 61 and 62 NFL championship games. The Giants lost a brutal game in the 63 Championship game to The Chicago Bears 14-10.
