Saw it last week , I liked it, was solid, kept the tension going in spite of knowing how it ends. Definitely worth seeing. Liked the part where Penetta asked her what else she had ever done for the agency?

I was surprised to see Bigelow is in her sixties, I figured she was in her late forties. Loved "Near Dark" one of my vampire favorites.

It was probably my favorite of the Best Picture nominees... Which admittedly this year isn't saying much. I thought they did a great job keeping the suspense up, even when they were giving you dates/locations that you knew were meaningful (sorry to be vague, trying to avoid spoilers). Acting was solid. I didn't like it as much as the Hurt Locker, but that flick really caught lightening in a bottle (Jeremy Renner will never match that performance, and neither Anthony Mackie, for that matter).

Silver Linings Playbook was hands down the best movie of 2012.

Solid, wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but I still liked it. Silver Lining playbook was really good too

I couldn't disagree more. Thought this film was phenomenal. Will probably go see it a second time it was that good.

:monsters-

Have you seen Argo ?? I got to see it last night. and it's good to compare the two.
Both Based on True stories... Just the story from Argo was back in the late 70's / early 80's
Acting was so much better in Argo, pieced together better, and had your heart racing more.

just My 2 cents

What, no love for Kathryn Bigelow,s ''The Hurt Locker"

Not a bad looking dame for 61 years young either.
