No comment on Zambrano -- except that he should have been thrown out of the game at that point.

More importantly....on the play when they had Ramirez round 3b for home on the short bloop single to right. Why didn't the first base coach send Barrett on to second, once the 3b coach sent Ramirez? Possible doulbe-up opportunity, but it seems to me like a smart thing to do.

If Sanders decides to throw to 2b to get Barrett, then Cubs get the run -- great trade of an out for a run. If the throw goes home, good chance that Barrett gets to second and avoids the double-play.

I know Barrett is a C, but he stole 6 bases a couple years ago with Montreal, and he hits 2-3 triples every year. He can't be THAT slow!

Funny to watch the Game Update on ESPN or Yahoo. Saw the Cards hit a 2-run homer to break the 3-3 tie.

Then you see the next batter gets hit by a pitch. Not too hard to figure out what happened! I was 90% sure Zambrano hit him on purpose.
