Certainly he is the best white running back in this era when all the backfield stars are black.
Coach Shaw said McCaffery is having the best season any college running back ever had, maybe
or maybe not but if the Heismann would have been voted after the bowl games he would be the winner.

I you had to play the Alabama defense who would you like to have as the tailback Henry, Fornette or
McCaffery. Fournette, the Heismann favorite at that time, after running for about 30 yards vs Alabama
was out of contention, Henry probably would gain about the same yardage. If McCaffery played Alabama
they wouldn't be able to contain him.

Has there been a white running back as elusive & with big time speed in the last 50 years absolutely
not. It's good to see.
