Once the wall goes up , especially in areas that illegals are now crossing where there is no barrier , its not like border patrol is going to look the other way with tunnels.. Wall is just one of a few key tools to use to fight this crisis... Take your walls down in your shack since they don't work

My shack doesn't have a river running through it either.

Thats why the Dems voted for a wall during previous administrations.

I might be wrong, but thought that they voted to put a wall up along strategic lengths along the border.

I have 2 math degrees. Any time you're in chicago and want to grab a guinness, I'd be happy to show up. I would offer up vegas, but I rarely make that trip anymore.

Cheers

Liberal Logic 101:

No need for a wall, better to have our already overstretched border agents scurrying trying to cover ever inch of a porous border.

But wouldn't sealing the border with a solid wall free up resources for border agents allowing them to target more specific problem entry points, like tunnels, smugglers, specific locations etc.?

Nah! They'll find some way in anyway....racist Drumpf supporters!

I think its dumb for the Mexico-US border. I've seen enough pictures of and reporting about these huge tunnels that the cartels use to smuggle drugs from Mexico into our country. A wall would do nothing to stop that.

Look at the big cocaine bust in NJ. A wall wouldn't have stopped that, good police-work stopped it.

When I hear the political banter about a wall, I think of one singular-solid structure across the southern border. If you ask me, take that wall money and be smart about it. Patch-up or create new borders at various locations along the border where you've got the most issues... where it makes sense... Where the border agents request it. I read an article out of Texas that law enforcement officials didn't want a wall on their border -- Lets listen to the states.

Then, take the remaining money and make sure Border Patrol agents are being compensated properly. Buy the equipment needed to do their jobs better, more drug dogs, more security checkpoints, more body armor, etc. Hire more agents. Or maybe we start going after organizations that hire illegals? I would love to see that

Can you point me to info on where 'Democrats' spent millions on walls for other countries? Unlike others on here (who think that staring into the sun won't hurt your eyes) I'm fine with being proven wrong if given new, reliable, information.

The omnibus budget says on page 394: SEC. 9011. Up to $500,000,000 of funds appropriated by this Act for the Defense Security Cooperation Agency in ”Operation and Maintenance, Defense-Wide’ may be used to provide assistance to the Government of Jordan to support the armed forces of Jordan and to enhance security along its borders,

The 2018 omnibus spending bill provides just enough funds to build 33 miles of fencing on the Texas border — but it also provides $500 million to help Jordan build a wall and defense line against jihad terrorists trying to cross its 287-mile border with Iraq and Syria,

Oh there you go again, believing everything daddy-Putin tells you again. Yet I'm the dumbass.

Tell me about the last fair election held in Russia and about the people who ran against Putin.
Tell me about the last fair election held in The United States and about the people who ran against Trump.
