I got stung good last night. Last night my most confident play was the Bulls, followed by the Lakers. Really took it in the shorts. It kinda of seems as if everyone is against one another competing in picks. I thought we should unite and post your most confident pick in one thread, one pick. If you could only bet one game, what would it be?

Mine-(Pretty worthless @ this point in time but as retarded as the NBA is....Cleveland/Detroit over 178.

BOL gentlemen and look forward to seeing everyone's strong play.:toast:

orlando/philly under 191.5

Orlando's offense has been a mess, relying on Lee to carry the load. Philly isn't a juggernaut either and I don't think this is the game where both teams go ballistic on offense. I'm hoping for a sluggish, defensive half-court game tonight. I can only hope.

Philly knows their best shot to win games against orlando is to push the pace and wreck havoc i.e. fast break opportunities and drawing fouls.

Nearly a week into the playoffs, Lewis and Turk will be as healthy as they've been since the end of the season.

In my honest opinion, I think this game potentially can go well over the total.

Cavs -5...could go ML-200 too but I think Detroit has given up for the most part. Playing aterrible 4th the other day is helpful too because I think LeBron will be annoyed and have them flying out to a quick DD lead today. I'm betting -5 pretty large and hedging some of it at half if theres a good middle opportunity

I'm a Magic fan, but I gotta admit Philly +3.5 looks good. It took our rookie to win the last game (a player with a 12 points avg in regular season), mainly because Lewis and Turkogluis are hurting and throwing up bricks! Howard is the team right now despite being free throw challenged.

Meanwhile Philly has done better than expected coming into the playoffs. Now they're 1-1, at home, confident, against a hurting team, and getting 3.5 points.

I'll bet Philly and hedge my loyalty. Go magic - Go philly. I can't lose. :dancefool

You know the past 2 days ive been completely off. But I just don't see Richard Hamilton, Tayshon Prince, Rasheed Wallace, and Antonio McDyess giving up that easy. Remember, that same 4 has been apart of 5 consecutive Eastern finals... they aren't slouches. Of course they don't have Billups but I don't see them giving up. It is quite possible that no matter how hard they try they can't stop the Cavs though.

Not sure which way Im leaning yet, but GL!!

Do you think Turk and Lewis bounce back? If they can drain just 30% of their treys this game can easily go over 192. Any thoughts?

I didnt think they would either prior to the series, but theyve clearly shown in the first 2 games that they want to get to their summer vacation IMO

They just looked horrible all season and even in the first 2 games of the series, thats enough evidence to convince me. Plus like I said, LeBron wasnt happy with that bad 4th qtr the other night and it will probably end up being a bad thing for Pistons. And Pistons being horrible ATS at home all season long helps too. Just my opinions of course, but hopefully everyone picks a winner out of the thread tonight

You know, you make some very good points. Now that I think about it, Cleveland has just as much motive to bury this team then Pistons have of at least showing up to compete. And with the Lakers loss last night Cavs might have a little extra chip on their shoulder to show their dominance!!

GL!! Leaning Cavs right now!

You also have to take into consideration that the Cavs more than likely want to win on their home floor, so they may lay low one of the two games. By doing this they get their stadium another game and making their franchise more money.

No offense but I don't buy that at all. Like I 100% don't believe a single word of that comment. The Cavs will play as hard as they possibly can to win tonight and in game 4.
