the timing of this is unbelievable. the obvious inference of this is that there
are some in the white house who are nervous about something that the FBI
was investigating. i'm sure obama would of liked to fire comey for the way
he handled the clinton email issue, but he was smart enough to know that
would infer coverup, so he deferred. if comey had been fired in january
or february, then this would not of looked as bad. however to do this during
an announced investigation of the president's associates actions during
the campaign and only a few days after testifying before congress would make
even inspector clouseau suspicious.
