The film was directed by Walter Hill, who also directed "48 Hours". He also took 2 young actors from the Warriors movie and gave them prominent roles in 48 Hours. James Remar (played Ajax in "The Warriors" and played "Ganz" in "48 Hours") and David Patrick Kelly (played "Luther" in both movies).
