When Baltimore beat San Fran outright as a dog. The year the lights went out.

Had $1,000 on Baltimore which at the time was one of my biggest bets ever

Same here I had future bets on both teams from before the season started and they were my only future bets. The bigger future bet cashed, it was a good year.

I remember having to sweat it out a bit because 49ers came out on fire after the lights came back on

My LEAST favorite was steelers. I think they were playing cardinals. I bet some obscure prop that the first td of the game would be a big Ben rushing td. Insane odds. And it happened! Only for them to review the play and call him half yard short. That one was brutal.

I had the same bet....like winning the lotto only to be told 30 seconds later you were a loser!

When the 49ers beat Denver 55-10 was my favorite as I knew they would get hammered and they did

The last 4 or 5 Super Bowls the Pats have been in were all entertaining. The Rams/Titans Super Bowl was one of my favorites.

38, NE over Carolina with that wild 4th quarter comes to mind.

42, the Tyree catch, that one was also sweet.

So true... 49ers were outstanding . They had whipped 2 teams to get there that were both way better than Denver . Only one possible outcome .

similiar to this year as Seattle and Arizona are way better than Broncos . Bet accordingly

I was at that 55-10 San Fran drubbing of Denver. It was in New Orleans. We walked by the "Denver" hotel before the game. The place was jumping, all the Denver fans, hooting and chest thumping. We walked by the day after the game and those people were looking like their mothers had died. Funny.

As for the game, anyone who says that Brady sucks because he's only a "system" QB, has to use the same litmus test for Joe Montana. In the pre free agent era, Montana played on a talent heavy team that also happened to include the best wide receiver of all time, Jerry Rice. He also played for a coach who had implemented an offense for the first time, the "West Coast" offense, that would become the model for all future offenses. That San Fran team that year, may well be the best team to ever play the game. I remember watching those receivers for San Fran be wide open on virtually every play. I mean W-I-D-E open. It was sinfully easy pitch and catch for Montana and his cast. Bill Walsh was the father of the West Coast offense. As far as I'm copncerned, Bellichick is the best NFL coach of all time. But Bill Walsh is in clear second. Not Vince Lombardi or anyone else. Bill Walsh. He changed the way offense was played forever.

Funny you guys should bring this game up. My favorite also. And I also made a big chunk of $$$.

Been a lot of close ones here lately.

I remember taking the Pats +13.5 over the greatest show on turf. Pats dominated on defense then Rams tied it up late only to watch Brady drive the Pats down the field with no timeouts for the winning vinateri fg.

13.5? Ridiculous huge spread
