First I’d like to congratulate the only real winners, those who had successful wagers on the election.

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p> </o:p>

Most importantly, I’d like to express my overall concern for those who value aggression more than humaneness. I’d also like to say I am not apologetic to those who I have insulted, because, quite frankly they deserve it. They have levied plenty of insult themselves and back it up with little, if any rationale. To blindly follow what is a clear litany of failure by this leadership is an insult to all of us.

<o:p> </o:p>

When nearly half of your “base” still believes that <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region><st1:place>Iraq</st1:place></st1:country-region> has stockpiles of WMD’s, in spite of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Add when nearly half of your base still believes that <st1:country-region><st1:place>Iraq</st1:place></st1:country-region> was responsible for the attacks on 9/11, in spite of no definitive evidence to the support that claim. Then that tells us all of the legitimacy of your base....Stepford.

When nearly all of your base accepts the claim that your “boss” is a born-again Christian, yet fails to recognize that huge accumulation of wealth and power, execution of humans is commonplace, pre-emptive aggression--justified with deceit and questionable reasoning, war causing tens of thousands of civilian deaths, rampant favoritism and elitism where fellow “bonesman” and corporate cronies are rewarded with high governmental appointments only because of financial favors, where the average American living a meek existence have seen fundamental Civil Liberties ignored and taken away.

All these positions are diametrically opposed to the teachings and dictates of Christ.<o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

But because he says it is so, it must be true. So very sad for you who take the bait and have the hook embedded deeply into your soul.

<o:p> </o:p>

The Shrub family has dozens of dubious if not scandalous connections. Neil is a thief, yet never paid for his crimes. Senior has ties throughout the intelligence industry which has been responsible for suppressing the rights of ordinary humans and manipulation of foreign governments. For what? Secure the wealth and power they inherited. Real Christ-like yep.

<o:p> </o:p>

The hypocrisy of this stated “moral” leadership is clear, I submit these facts and actions are as sinister, selfish, and secular as anything.

<o:p> </o:p>

How sad the one's that know these truths, allow themselves to be duped into believing lies and falsehoods.

<o:p> </o:p>

I pity those who dismiss logic, reason, and clear hypocrisy in favor of emotion for one particular issue that you’d sacrifice the entire balance of legitimate issues to have your way. I myself choose to look at the collective picture, the overall “works” of an individual, a political movement. When greed, avarice, and lust (for power) supercedes the foundation of democracy…..the fundamental law that values the individual over the state, then we should all pray that we slip no further into totalitarian rule. This is what you have now. Narrow Corporate interests take full precedence over individuals and their fundamental rights. These corporations could care less about true Christian principles and teachings. Greed is epidemic in this land. Everyone for him/herself is now the common theme.

<o:p> </o:p>

All these principles sacrificed because of this: paranoia. This is the aim of terrorism, and they have apparently succeeded.

Sure there is real threat from terror which is real. Safety is of utmost concern. But, whoever thinks if the other side were to have won, that safety would be significantly compromised, comes from a place called Stepford.

How far do we go until we become a “State” that has no value for the individual, other than to be a tool by which the Oligarchic few exercise their selfish exploits? I submit we have crossed that line already and now continue further in that direction.

<o:p> </o:p>

Paranoia that somehow gay marriage will overrun this nation, this in spite of the fact this issue is a STATES RIGHTS issue and states rights is historically a Conservative, Republican tradition, abandoned by those who have you believe they are “Conservatives."

All states have existing statues that govern marriage. None grant marriage to anything other than to one man and woman. No polygamy, no marrying your livestock, etc, etc.

So we should follow the national logic and pass amendment after amendment, until we feel safe from something that is of no real threat to us? While I’m no big fan of the idea of Gay unions, the entire issue is a red herring, period.

<o:p> </o:p>

It’s truly a very sad day in <st1:country-region><st1:place>America</st1:place></st1:country-region>, when an extra 2-3% of duped citizens has you believing this signals a clear mandate. Your clear mandate is limited to the following issues:

<o:p> </o:p>

Gay marriage.

Find Bin Laden.

Stabilize <st1:country-region><st1:place>Iraq and bring our sons and daughters home.</st1:place></st1:country-region>

<o:p> </o:p>

That’s it. You have no mandate on domestic economic issues, none. More than half disapprove of your handling of the economy and social concerns such as health and welfare. The majority disapprove of the handling of the <st1:country-region><st1:place>Iraq</st1:place></st1:country-region> war.

<o:p> </o:p>

Let us remind you, though roughly 58.9 million of you choose to overlook these preceding facts of elitist rule, in favor of emotionally charged feelings of so-called “morality” and “leadership”, an astonishing 55.3 million of us reject it. 48 out of every 100 people reject it.

<o:p> </o:p>

And in actuality, it comes down to those 100 or so thousand in Ohio that have the other half of the county continue their subjugation to an authority that has no more claim to moral superiority than I have claim to the throne of England.

<o:p> </o:p>

<st1:City><st1:place>Liberty</st1:place></st1:City> of the individual is greater than any state.

<o:p> </o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

The fight will continue always. <o:p> :banger: </o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>

Cuz.

I stood between 2 Bushies yesterday and their depth of knowledge was shallow at best ...

I find it amusing to hear Dennis Miller scream about the Liberals being uneducated .. the vast majority of folks I know that voted for Bush did it best on lies and other stuff they had heard from Limbaugh, Hannity or the Swift Boat Ads ...

Most Americans are very uninformed .. yesterdays win for Bush clearly shows that

Take care

...like I need Tom King and Republicans like Dick Cheney (5 deferments & "I had other priorities"), and Paul Wolfowitz (no service) to keep me safe. LOL

That's about as comical as trusting my safety to a draft-dodging, AWOL guardsman to be my Commander in Chief. whatever.

Issues like Iraq, the economy, Healthcare, the deficit etc etc didn't decide this election.

"Gays getting married" swung it.

Looks like we have a country run by christian mullahs

Holy moley .:freak1:

eek,

you think its bad that religous people played a part in this election? religion teaches a lot of good things, such as morals, honesty, and family.

it was actually 60-40 acording to exit polls. the morals that are discussed are controlled by state not presidency. it just comes back to stupidity again eek. people in ohio are out of work and they just shot themselves in the foot to vote for something that wasnt going to change anyways. i dont know if i should laugh or cry.

Islam or Christianity, its all about power, control, keeping women down and kicking gays in the nuts.

And apparently God agrees with them.

God told them all to do these things. :>Grin>

-----------------------------------------------------

According to this, 'moral values' were 4/1 Bush.

And Bush as we all know, is a really moral guy :WTF:

the people in ohio will get more money from unemployment than from the minimum wage jobs they would have found with kerry elected.
