Had a decent weekend playing in a few MTTs. Had a GC for a 10K qualifying tournament and took 36 of 192 (top 40 got a seat). Then played the 10k and placed 37 of 205 for a $58 cash (tourney is normally 50+5, in for free, so i'm happy). Decided to finish off a decent day in CFB with the Cake $7500 guarenteed $5+.50 RA.

I played pretty well at the lower blinds and even better when the blinds got up to 60/300/600. Only bought in 1 time (and rebought to 3000) then added on at the break.

Why do I feel like I never draw out on anyone? I'm sure I do here and there, but I swear, 90% of the time when I'm in on a draw, the other hand holds. Not for me though. I've been calling a lot of these big stack pricks lately and ALWAYS at the right time when they are bluffing. Here is just another good call, only to be out-drawn in the end:

The last two were consecutive hands with AK. Loser annnnnd loser. Oh and did I fail to mention that I was in 1st for most of this 52 man tournament and then ended up bubbling the fucking thing?

On the bright side, the 10/12nl scheduled tournies at Cake seem a little soft. I will probably start to play more of these

Poker is just a shitty game...or at least it shits on me.

Played the $330 100K yesterday at AB. i got a SOB on my right playing every hand and hitting everything he plays....Meanwhile i get 4 hands in 2 hours and lose all 4.

Played a SNg last night and with 4 left im in 1st place dont even need to play to cash. 4 straight hands i get top notch premium hands nobody would EVER fold....lose all 4 and go out 4th place for 0 dollars....I hate poker.....

UGH! So I'm all in with AK. Guy calls with 1010. Rivers a 10. Fuck you Cake! Cocksucking-2-motherfucking-outter and I have no goddamn diamonds.

Could this have worked out differently? I don't think so. I mean, if I raise to $24K, Seat 2 still has 1010 and would probably re-raise all in (wouldn't make sense to just double it). Obviously, I'm not folding AK preflop with all of those chips in the pot.

So either way, I be fucked. No getting out of that one. I'm just digusted. I played really really well this tournament. Actually, I've been playing pretty good lately.

Last 10 tournaments

36/321 (top 40 get daily 10k seat)
37/197 (cashed for $58 in daily 10k)
10/86 (cashed for $21.07)
182/439 (no cash)
15/52 (no cash)
9/88 ($38.38)
82/125 (no cash)
71/127 (no cash)
19/641 ($14.42) -- Caker $1500 Guarenteed -- Had that guy not rivered me, I would have been up in the top 5 and I really think I could have taken it down.

I've been trying to become a better tournament player so I play $3NL, $5NL, $10NL, and up to $15NL.

1st hand fold pre

Huh? he's on the button with huge blinds and ante's....i would think raising with 2 napkins instead of cards would be a good play....although me personally i dont like the 2.5X raise in these situations as you give the BB decent odds to try to hit a hand if he wants to with say...910s. More than likely this is a clear shove with less than 15BB and an M of 7 or so...

in todays world he is getting called, just a question on rather you want to showdown with q8 or not and his imagine, but yea atleast shove it if you are going to play it. Blinds past him he could wait for a better hand a little more(atleast k9 for showdown value imo), just my .002, not ridiculing or anything like that, just my thoughts on it
