Wade's supporting cast last year was far superior to James' supporting cast last year and it wasn't even that close. Wade went through a few seasons at Marquette - James was fresh from high school. James is the better player now and will only get better.

And the Heat took 7 games to beat the Hornets in round 1 before getting beat in 6 by Indiana. More than James' Cavs did but don't get carried away.

very good point Bill, but Wade was the backbone of last years team,especially when you factor in him learning to play the point for the first time in his life and them getting that far

How many Paternity actions does he have aginst him? This seems to be the true messure of how valuable an NBA player is.
