If you believe that posting the "Ten Commandments" in schools will hurt the children, but putting "Heather Has Two Mommies" or "Ask Alice" (on the internet) won't.

You think the phrase, "separation of church and state" is contained in the Constitution.

If you actually think Clinton 'only inhaled'.

You pale at the execution of child killers, but defend the killing of unborn children as an expression of choice.

You complain that your community has too many white people and the Catholic church you go to doesn't have enough ethnicity, but you're the first one with a for sale sign in your yard when blacks start moving in.

When you go to parties you introduce the person you're with as, "...and this is my partner..."

You think the Constitution really does guarantee a woman the right to an abortion.

If you think the answer to ANY crime, infraction, or injustice is counseling.

If you think only white people can be racist.

If you think Rush Limbaugh and Michael Reagan are mean spirited racists and promote hate crime but Maxine Waters, John Conyers and Louis Farakahn aren't and don't.

You view race riots as justifiable expressions of rage over injustice and fail to see the similarities between a black mob burning a Korean store and a white mob in the Jim Crow era lynching a black man.

You think those child-abusing, religious fanatics at Waco had it coming but the illegal immigrants roughed up by California deputies - after leading them on a high-speed chase - are the victims of the decade.

ps. Mother Teresa is dead and can do neither of that which you suggest; Clinton probably got high most weekends in college and who cares; anybody can be a racist; many gays are Conservatives ... I think your a liberal if your first thought is abortion is your right rather than abortion is wrong in the first place. Thats the distinction.

It may be your right to have one,but that dosen't make it right to have one.

And thats where societys morals have gone completley upside down and wacko.

I remember about 8 years ago or so, a Church in the Maritimes (eastern Canada) was torn down -- underneath the floors in the rectory and the convent were found the skeletons of several hundred newborns, some dated back as far as a hundred years. The convent had at one time been used for 'bad girls' to give their babies up for adoption. I guess not all of them made it to the orphanage.

xpanda.....yeah, I guess they just didn't want to babysit some strangers kid, just considered the kids to be the parents responsibility.....then they went home to pay thier cable bill and take thier own kids to the ball game....typical right to lifer behavior...

"We can help" turns into "Help yourself, it's not my kid" shortly after the baby is born.

No, but there has never been a time in the last 100 years of Canadian history when you did not need to report a death to the property authorities. You don't just bury babies in the basement and call it a day.

Besides, I was just demonstrating that society's morals haven't suddenly flipped on their head as you stated, but that abortion has been with us for a long while. Further, your point that this abortion is immoral is strictly subjective, so can never truly be proven wrong. Or right for that matter. Personally, I do not think abortion is immoral.

I'm not saintly or smart enough to call anyone immoral.I think its wrong when abortion evolves to a form of birth control and to the point where it is the first choice and not the last.I think it is like selective breeding along the lines of what Hitler had in mind.When abortion is done for conveniece sake then I feel you have crossed the line.Kind of like pornography.I'm not sure what it is,but I know it when I see it.

I remember hearing this from some other source, I cannot remember its exact origin.....When you say you know it when you see it.....then I guess one could argue that people see things from different points of view through different eyes.....one mans pornography is another man's culture would be a fairer statement to say.....what you judge to be pornographic may be fine for different people or different cultures....there are foods I don't like, I just don't eat them....same as church, I don't go to church, but in the same breath I will say that I'm not trying to burn them all down either. Pornography is subject to interpretation, some people on this planet actually think "darn" and "shoot" are swear words.....

The abortion debate is a rather heated issue....

Personally, if the following conditions don't apply, then I may change my mind about my opinion of letting women decide to have abortions:

1...When women aren't raped and forced the indignity of having forced pregnancy with a strangers child...
2...When temporary birth control is 100% effective
3...When women no longer die in some cases giving childbirth
4...When children aren't born with severe birth defects crippling thier chance at a normal life
5...When aids is no longer transferred from mother to baby during pregnancy....
6...When welfare is not a factor and the common taxpayer is eliminated from the equation.

Maybe I missed a couple....seems to me when those 6 apply then most if not all women will no longer need to have abortions....
