You think ESPN puts these things out there because nobody likes it? The problem really is that this country is full of retards and ESPN caters to them. I mean it is a business and ESPN is doing what is best for business. If nobody liked the shit and they stopped making money, they would stop doing it.

I don't think people are upset about the sports they show, its all the other stuff. Are they considered a credible news organization when they don't report on topics that are in conflict with their programming (Te'o story being the latest)? NBC Sports Net (Directv220, old Versus) is a preferred option.
NBC sports network is great, especially what I'd compare to their version of sports center..
I don't know how any real sports fan can take the espn network seriously at this point. Especially sportscenter or any of the shows where two idiots yell at each other.
Their on air talent is brutal...I really don't care what any of them think or what they have to say so smugly.
And I hate when people say 'then why do you watch'. When I'm in control of what's on, it's only on for live events and game day. If sportscenter or another crap debate show is on I either didn't bother changing the channel or it was the last channel on when I turned off tv.

Dick Vitale absolutely ruins college basketball games he calls.
Says the same things every game..." I can't beleive they pay us to do this baby", "what a diaper dandy", "he is on my all marco polo team", "dipsy doo dunkaroo". And my favorite is in march when he says who is in tourney and who is out, he always has about 80 teams in the tournament. "let em play baby" Uggggh. And to think when I was in 6th grade, i got that jack asses autograph.
