Khris Middleton and the Bucks have agreed to a five-year, $70 million deal,
according to ESPN. Keeping Middleton in Milwaukee was one of the Bucks' top offseason priorities; they made it clear they wanted to solidify their young core. Some think the deal might be too much for a player whose career averages are 11.8 points and 3.8 rebounds, but Middleton is coming off his most productive year in the league.
DeMarre Carroll left the Hawks and went north. The swingman will join his sixth NBA team after
agreeing to a four-year, $60 million deal with the Raptors. At the time of this writing, Carroll's deal makes him the highest-paid player on the Raptors' roster. Last season he posted 12.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game on the best team in the Eastern Conference.
I'd ask either of these guys, or their agents, if they took a gun into the room, or did they have incriminating pictures of the owner and a farm animal?
