the problem with the logic though is this isn't the 50's. as much as I rag on this country where I have always given it credit is its vast improvement in race relations.

who says im black, and democrats have always been heavily supported by blacks, use common sense. 84 percent of blacks traditionally vote democratic. the candidate is black so of course it will be an even higher percentage.

I'm pretty sure you said you were black. Either way, you sure do speak for them a lot.

If traditionally 84% of blacks vote Dem, and now 95% will vote Obama, that's an increase of 13%. If whites-for-Dems votes decrease by 13%, will you start a thread?

More importantly, how is DaveinVegas' observation that whites may vote McCain due to whiteness any more racist than your observation that blacks will vote Obama due to blackness?
