Some people have to make a living, benassflick. When you sign a contract it would be up to the owner's to let you play. I know that I wouldn't let my players go off on some vanity tour to massage their ego.

Also, I think basketball was invented by a Canadian.

It's unfair because the US doesn't have as much time as other countries to practice. Most of our day is spent murdering children.

Yes, but he was a professor at the University of Michigan (I think, don't quote me on the school) when he invented it. So I don't think it counts. Although Canadians do love to take credit for inventing the sport.

We had more to do with shaping the NFL than we did basketball, actually.
