Yesterdays race was just fantastic.............
I was actually set to go, but overslept and missed my 330 am ride......UGH!!
If you have never been to Daytona, you better get it on your bucket list.........one of the best sporting events in the country.
So what made you make this pick? It was his second race, he hasn't proven anything yet.....what value did you find it placing that wager? grant it, it was only $20, but still.
There was tons of luck involved. HAd there not been as many wrecks, this guy would've been in the bottom higher 20's finishing.
He won by default, but none the less, won.

With the new track, and the type of racing that was expected, combined with the quotes from many drivers racing in the 150's, figured there were going to be many accidents on the day and taking a couple longshots at 175-1 and 450-1 would perhaps be worth taking a shot with.
Had a good friend at the race who knows racing very well and he was also conversing with other smart racing people on the infield on who might be a good longshots to win the race and they came up with two drivers.........and fortunately, one of them was the #21 car driven by Trever Bayne.
Yeah agree probably one of the worst 'sports' besides poker or darts. Went to one event in Las Vegas and it was such a bore. No one can give me 5 valid reasons why you should be putting going to the Daytona on your buckets list. That's an insult for even having a buckets list.
