Was all set to go to the bash but I first had to stop off at a BBQ/pool party I was invited too, way north of town. I had only planned on being there for a short time.
I ended up running into a few guys I have been really wanting to meet since I moved out here. I got a chance to hang out with these guys throughout the whole night and we talked about some very interesting things.
About half way thru the night I realized that I had probably had a few too many to drinks to be driving clear across town to get the bash and that it wouldn't be smart to be doing that. Plus my designated driver (my wife, LOL) was back in Michigan visiting friends and family.
Felt bad that I missed out on it. It's sucked for me that both events were planned the exact same day and time of the day.
Either way I am just a PM/e-mail away from hooking up with anyone, anytime if they are out here.
