Who do you have in mind?
Lions, Bucs, or Niners?
Even healthy I don't think any of those teams could beat the Eagles. I'm from the Belichick school - depth counts, next man up. All three of those teams had healthy QBs. That's the most important position on the field.
Detroit had a healthy Jamyr Gibbs for the full season and David Montgomery until Week 15. Their D was banged up. Their coach is a Russian roulette play caller. As much as I like the guy and te attitude he imparts to his players, it's my belief that his style of play calling will eventually bite his balls as he goes through the Playoffs. We do probabilities. He has expanded the probability toolkit. But he also kicks dirt on himself when he extends his probability elastic so much that it breaks.
The Bucs had Bucky Irving. Just not good enough yet.
The Niners missed Aiyuk and of course McCaffrey. But it's entirely possible that McCaffrey is all but done. What was their backup answer. Deebo wants out again. Purdy turtled. I think San Fran missed their window.
The Rams? Maybe. But they had a healthy QB too and failed. And a healthy Kyren Williams. They'll be better if Puka can stay on the field. And of course if Kupp could give them a year like 22 or 23 again. Can he? THeir Defense is good enough to make them a contender.
Who else?
I don't see any of those competing with a healthy, intact Philly. My guess is that AJ Brown stays. And the way Howie Roseman drafts they'll likely fill any free agency holes.
I m willing to listen to you or anyone else make a case for a contender.
