It depends on what time you bet game and not how many outs you have

If you know the way most lines will move you only need 3 outs at best

I know guys that have 20 outs and I have 3 and I beat his line almost every time

I can't justify playing anywhere else. I've never needed to line shop... Mostly because I play only the most solid games instead of always betting simply on value.

On average giving up about 2% if you don't shop lines. So if you were a coin flip 50% capper and started shopping numbers that probably would be enough to get you around 52%, that almost pays the juice and allows you to break even. If you are hitting 52% now without it then it would certainly make you profitable if you start shopping numbers, 54% doesn't sound all that glamorous but it's plenty enough to make money with......:)
