NFL favorites have covered at over a 58 percent clip though the first 14 weeks of the current pro football campaign despite a strong showing by the underdogs last week. While I fully expect ‘dogs to bark the rest of the season, we will likely still finish with favorites covering at over a 56 percent rate.

Wagering into inflated NFL lines late in the week is the mistake

Despite this year I agree with Fezzik. The point is missing the number by betting a game late (at -6) that opened 4 and closes 6 is not sound wagering.
