So do plenty of other players in the league. Not everyone can be a five tool guy. How can you even ask that question considering the numbers he's put up?
clemens works out of top of 2nd...at 44 pitches....pitt is fouling off alot of pitches and making clemens work at least....need maholm to work a quick bottom of 2nd.....pitt also needs to make this pitch count work against clemens...still very early in this game
if i was pitt maybe you bunt the runner over to 3rd after a leadoff double?? try to sneak a few easy runs like this in...instead of getting them all with one swing?? specially when you are at the bottom of the order??
