I was leaning towards with yankees RL tomorrow with cc on the mound. I could see their first home game @ their new stadium but will they cover the RL??? so far, small number of people already posted their plays for tomorrow and they all have yankees RL for tomorrow..... I was doing real good today until braves and angels fucked me today so looking at early game tomorrow. will cliff lee continue to struggle??

yankees did get a win today against rays but they are really missing Arod... 1st game @ the new ball park + 1st home game in this season + cc motivation(pitching against his former team) all directs me toward yankees..... could it be this easy?? any thoughts?

yes moneyline is high.... but this is how i am thinking. It's always risky to bet on home team RL... and indians offense wasn't that bad so far this season. it's just that their pitchers were horrible. cliff lee started shaky but we don't know if he will continue to suck or if he will be back to his last season form. if his pitches do come back to his last season form, yankees won't score much and indians will be able to get at least run or two to keep them in game..... i don't know, for some reason i just keep on coming up with reason not to bet on yankees RL tomorrow after i saw everyone who posted their plays for tomorrow has yankees RL... like today, i was searching for late night game and didn't had time to do the research on my own so I bet on angels after i see almost everyone liked angels.... and look what happened(i probably would have chose angels anyways even if i did research on my own....)

I think if you're going to bet a game with odds like this, you should generally bet the RL for the sake of the odds. You really shouldnt bet a team -190 if you dont think they can win easily...but thats just my two cents. Also, the gap between RL and ML for this game is a bit more than an average game (probably due to the huge line), so that should help make up for the disadvantage of being at home.
I'll personally be on Yanks RL tomorrow, GL whatever you decide :103631605

This is IF your committed to the Yanks. Maybe if you don't feel too committed to them, you should avoid game or if you feel they might lose, then take a small bet on Indians for big odds

i agree with djax. if you feel like SMASHING the yanks -200 because everyone thinks cc will destroy his old team in the New Yankee Stadium home opener, then why not play the runline? if you think 2 runs is too much you shouldnt bother playing the ML..
Im on the yanks rl for 250 tomorrow.. good luck with whatever you decide college, and jax, lets cash this!

totally understand what you guys are saying... however, I can't really see indians winning the game tomorrow... but with all the points I mentioned before.... it just seems too easy... i guess i am going to think about it bit more and decide tomorrow.... gl to you guys tomorrow!

hey college, if anything, put a small unit on the RL if you'd like.. this way if the indians win or cover the rl, you don't get killed on juice.

that's what i am afraid of.... as much as yankees wants to win their 1st game in their new ballpark, cliff lee would love to get a win too and be remebered for long time....

I'm leaning RL myself, but be careful all, Padres crushed the Mets home opener.

Ask yourself, would you lay 210 against Lee if this was last year. I think there is great value playing Lee at plus 190 or so tomorrow. The last time a Cy Young winner started the next season 0-2, it was Roy Halladay in 2004, who in his next 19 starts went 8-6 with an ERA just under 4. So many games to choose from, why pick one where you have to lay over 2-1 or lay a run so early in the season when so many things can happen. I'm playing a little on Clev because of the value and would not be surprised if both starters are gone by the 8th inning in a close game.

Cliff Lee hasn't just suckt in April. He suckt all of March in spring training too.

I made a bundle fading Lee in his first start but have laid off since.

In MLB, you can't make money longterm playing -200 favorites.

Ha, that's sports for you. I wouldn't be surprised.

How could you be surprised. Yes he's off to a slow start this year, but he's still a solid starter and Cleveland's "Ace". Don't forget, Cleveland was thought to contend for the division this year with Minn and Detroit. Just because Lee and Cleveland are off to a slow start doesn't mean anyone should count them out....especially against the Yanks who have been inconsistent at best so far.

There isn't a more public play out there than taking the big home favorite run-line.

The record is 0-4 this season when playing the run line on a home team -185 or more.

RL or ML? i think you mean ML. RL is -105 for this game, not -185 or more.

same scenario the other nite at mets opener... everyone and their mother thinks how can they lose opening of new stadium...everyone jumps on $line and runline....think i saw one person on this forum jump on the pads +1'...thinkin if lee does have that breakout to old form, maybe the tribe +1' is worth the risk....

Mets lost to a fairly hot Padres team. The Yankees are playing a Cleveland team that seem to have lost hope in the season already and Cliff Lee hasn't shown any of the 2008 form.
