Serves the Sox right for not putting in a runner for Ortiz. Almost anyone in the league makes it to third on that bunt. A wild pitch gives them 2nd and 3rd anyways, but Francona should have ran for oRTIZ. And he had an intentional walk to think about it too.

Hansen just doesnt have the gonads to pitch in this type of series...same for throwing Hinske in that spot. Just didnt understand those decisions by Tito.

Also, the 9th was so indicative of the Sox...Ortiz/Manny were productful...and nobody else could do a damn thing in a key spot.

Hard to be a Sox fan afer this latest debackle...very pathetic from such a talented team

...and I'm still trying to understand the Kapler/HInske pinch hit spot...

Rivera is a LOT tougher on lefties...Hinske has NEVER been in a series, ket at bat spot like that...Kapler has been in this series a long time. Kapler has better speed in case of a double play grounder. And is better defnsively if the game goes extras.

Tito really fucked up there...game should be over.

Sox scored 25 runs is 4 games so far in this series and have zero wins to show for it. The blame for this debacle is the sox bullpen and the sox front office for not addressing the worst bullpen in the league.

by the way, i predict AROD hits at least 1 HR tomorrow. Now that the yanks are guaranteed at least a 4-1 series win, the pressure is off and AROD will shine.

The bullpen/staff SUCKED--no doubt. But this lineup is Weak after the 5 spot.
Lowell/Kapler/Crisp/Gonzalez/Cora/Mirabelli/Lopez----anyone there scare you?? I would rather have Melky who hits 9 for the Yanks.
1-5 hitters are the only run generating slots.
Youk not getting a bunt down--Hinske striking out and Mirabelli back to Rivera.

Crisp 0-6 at the top of the line up is so killer as well...

Timlin has suddenly went from reliable...to a 90 yr old fuck w/ out a back bone.

Hansen seriously is not ready for the spotlights of this series...anybody could have seen that on Friday night.

Red Sox fans' favorite punching bag...Tavarez... has actually been lights out in his last six Fenway appearances, Playoff experience...wouldve been the choice, imo

Is Timlin injured? I can't remember seeing he be this ineffective in any other series. He was a solid 8th inning guy since I can remember.
