This might be great for Portland. If they suck again this year and get a top-5 pick in the draft, they'll have two talented youngsters on the team, if Oden makes a full recovery from the microfracture surgery (no given, I know)

i actually believe oden is a little soft and have said it here before the draft.

I was a competitive baseball player with no history of leg injuries. I felt a sharp pain in my knee while working out one day and 4 months later I had the microfracture surgery. This was 2 years ago and I was 38 at the time. I haven't played any competitive sports since and i've had another knee surgery in the meantime.

They just have to hope that he doesn't have a degenerative condition that will just get worse. It's actually pretty hit or miss with this type of surgery.

This is the surgery that Stephen Davis had and he didn't recover.

i think its convenient for people to say oh yea durant was the pick all along. Oden was the smart and obvious choice, hopefully he gets back to 100 percent.
