TORONTO — Xander Bogaerts extended his hitting streak to 21 games Saturday by ripping a solo homer to left field to lead off the fourth inning here at Rogers Centre.
This is the first time since 1922 that a pair of Red Sox teammates have had 23-game hit streaks in the same season.
