Hi, I've been tailing you for the last few days and I've made a few coins during the process too. I was just wondering if it's not too much work, you mind posting the pitchers you are expecting to start beside your picks? I screwed myself over by taking the Pirates tonight (please go easy on me guys, it's my first time this season playing with baseball). Thank you so much thus far with your picks :toast:
I have been posting for a couple years on this site... On the first day of the season, and every once in a while I say that all my plays are "listed" pitchers.. I suggest you do the same. Whoever you follow, me or anyone else, almost all of us use "listed" pitchers. 90% of the time, for me the play is based on the pitchers.... Now that you know, its a good idea.... I am sure you book has an "action" or "listed" option.... ALWAYS I use Listed pitchers... if you followed the card today at least you made around 700 bucks or so, depending you unit size..... still a really nice day. I am just stuck in my ways and most times I am short on time, I am a full time student, and I post on a couple different sites so I save time and do as less typing as possible... Not really gonna change what works or the style I use to post.... Just from now on, LISTED pitchers... My best wishes in the future sir!!
No worries, whatever works for you, it works. Yeah, I was just messing around with the functions of the online books I signed up and I noticed each one has this option were it allows you to check off to allowing the bet go through or not if there is a pitching change. And you mention in one of your earlier posts that your bet was canceled because there was a change in pitcher for the Pirates, so I'm assuming if you have that setting on? Otherwise, looking forward to your picks and for me to be more exposed to this sport of baseball that I've been missing out for a long time.
OK, good stuff..... we all make mistakes when first starting. You got yours out of the way last night so moving forward just ALWAYS use "listed" pitchers... I think you mentioned that your book allows you to check the box or something.... if there is a change such as last night then you have a cancelled bet and will be refuned your wager.... then you make another decision with the new starters.... You have just learned a valuable lesson. There will be bumps in the road but before no time you may even be posting your own plays and explaining something like this to someone following you... either way, welcome to the show!!!!!
