Hope and think you are right, but I think after today Braves meltdown I am done with bases for the year. Just fed up with those kind of losses. BAD BAD taste on that one. And give me a break baseball and TV, play a game that ends at 11 eastern and now you want 2 teams to fly a red eye across the country and play again the next evening. Why not a day off.

i consider myself a sports investor more than a gambler, the investor side of me says to hedge but...its only one game left in the series, if the angles were down 3-0 or 3-1 or even 3-2 i would say jedge but this is what you laid the bet for, to win the series, and thats what i feel the yanks will do today!!

depending how much you wagered on the series,it is always a good idea to get certain money, cant go wrong there, if you are gonna hedge do so for perhaps you origional investment and perhaps more. its totally up to you!! if you truely feel the yanks win today let it ride, ask yourself, is this an investment or a gamble, then you will find your answer. i really like the fact that mussina is a big game pitcher, but colon is also...but colon will be traveling all night and pitch tomorrow where mussina is already in anaheim and has been since last week...i feel this gives him a huge edge....yanks offensee is, well,then yanks offense......i like the fact that yanks really get to colon pretty much every time they play him, for me the yanks win big today!!!

not sure why no day off other than there is a schedule that the league hs to keep, i.e. reserved time on major networks...bases has taken a toll on me this year as well, especially the last 6 weeks or so...i am actually excited that it is almost over...looking forward to making some money on hockey this season, but already off to a rough start on that front...good luck on the yanks if you choose to play them!!

I smell a bad beat brewing here. Mussina has looked U.G.L.Y. in the not too distant past. The sketchy pen, the decision not to try & win the last game of the season, losing that home edge, it all adds up to a letdown IMO...

with out a whole board to pick from, when its easier to spot a xxx play you gotta go with what ya got...this game is just how i see things, i have not been doing well in the playoffs so just do what ya gotta do the rest of the way out...i wish everyone the best of luck of course...if ya agree with me then we will try to root home a victory, if you are on the other side, then you see things differently than i do and i wish you well.......go yanks!!!

well, ladies and gentlemen, i am officially done with bases for the year, my stregenth in bases lies in being able to spot a winner on a full card...with only 1 option per day its a crap shoot for me...good luck the rest of the season, my attention now turns to hockey as that is my best sport...in about another week i will increase my plays, and have a few 2 unit plays per day and in about 2 weeks i will be announcing 1 xxx rated play per day....good luck the rest of the way on the base paths folks...

until next year, i will post from day one and shoot for a 100 unit season....

Don't go yet bigshot,
there's a sweet play brewing on the White Sox tomorrow. Angels will be playing 3rd game in 48 hours, travelling appx 5000 miles in between games! Paul Byrd has been on the road with the Halos & Contreras has been on fire. Great situation play. There are still great plays in baseball!!!
