The past 2 days have been very nice, going 5-0 and picking up +13.45 units in that time. Mainly due to the xxx play coming in both days. No real reason to stop the winning streak now. But with all the ups, come the .....well, you know!! Stay the course and stay disciplined I say to myself. x = 1 unit.
Flyers/Sabres over 5.5 -130 xx
-Over is 8-2 in PHI last 10 games following a win.
-Over is 11-4 in PHI last 15 road games.
-Over is 8-1 in the last 9 meetings.
These two teams do not particularly like one another and I see alot of offense tonight. Both are well rested and defense is not the stregnth for either team. This is a shooting match imo.
Islanders +155 xx
The trends dont favor the Isles here, hence the big line. I am going on gut instinct and hockey sense here thinking the Islanders can take advantage of a team that played last night in a tight checking affair. Imo, huge VALUE in this matchup.
Ducks -125 xxx rated...
<LI class=more>ANA are 9-3 in the last 12 meetings.I am still trying to figure out why the line is so low. This is a case where the public is all over the Ducks, about 65%. That dosent bother me however as I think this is a clear cut game in which the better team will win. Again, there is alot of value on a short price for the much better Ducks team. After losing to the Caps, in a game where they fell apart in the first and could never recover, they will be out for vengence at the hands of a weak Blues team. All the above statements are purely my opinion but I think this is a good solid valuable card able to produce a profit.
