Ive had my indifferences with WWTS and their policies in the past and this particular situation is just as ridiculous as any of the others. Within one minute of placing a wager online for the yankee/dray game to go off in about 2 hours from now, I called customer service to let them know its the beginning of the baseball season and I forgot to put listed pitchers on the game. I was told online wagers cannot be changed. Many many books have fixed this situation for me in the past when I realized the game was going to be "action". Afterall, isnt that the point of checking your wagers, so you can fix them if they are not what you want? Chances are mussina and zambrano will pitch and this will be a nonissue. But the issue of strange customer service policies will still remain at WWTS.

They just keep getting poorer. Their terrible price gouging on futures is another strike against them. Among them are: To win WS: Yanks+150/Red Sox+250/Cubs+275. Un-believable!
That and any large book that will take deposits all weekend but not allow withdrawals is not to be taken seriosly as an out anymore. The new oddsmaker they have been crowing about comes up with those future lines?

I hear ya!

How can they be ranked # 1 at SBR when they only process withdrawals Monday to Friday, they limit you to $10k per week by NETeller, their lines have no value most of the time and I don't even think their customer service is nowhere near the standards of other top books.

Looks to me like the problem is on your end.

You in fact did NOT 'check your wager' prior to hitting Submit.

Had the same thing happen to us a couple nites ago. Played OVER when we meant to play UNDER.

I had to place another wager on UNDER for double the amount to cancel out the Over play.

Not as easy for a Moneyline baseball play, but we do have the power to be more careful and check before entering wager.

Bartman.... agree 100%.... we choose which books to play at, we choose which wagers and we choose to doublecheck or not, but hey in a world where everyone eveverything on someone else does it surprise you that people would complain?

Personally, I love WWTS. They usally have customer service clerks available to chat directly online with. I've never had a problem with them in the least bit.

They can be a little stubborn at times, but overall, i think their clerks are very polite.

Obviously some of you missed the point. And obviously I need to be more careful in making sure that if I want listed pitchers at a book that it states that prior to accepting the wager. Some books put in listed pitchers automatically and some dont, which can contribute to the error. The point here is that alot of books would change that for you if you called them up. So barman and mizike, if you owned a sportsbook you wouldnt allow wagers to be changed if they were requested immediately after being placed and they did not involve a line movement? Whatever your answer is, wwts apparently will allow a change of wager if it was placed on the phone but not if placed online. If that really is the rule, its just another strange one at this book.

To be honest i am not the owner of my own book so i can not comment on how i would react to your situation but i do know one thing. Do something once for a customer and they will expect it always, so i am sure that wwts works with the same principals, it is their book after all. If you dont like the way they handled your situation then simply cashout, zero complaints about wwts not paying players, and go to another book that you think will allow you to cancel wagers. Your complaints will be better directed to wwts (after all that is where you have the dispute) then crying here for sympathy.

Dear Shark i think you are right 100%

changing pitchers in just two minutes after you place the wager should not be a problem, is not like you suddenly want to change the side or cancell the entire wager,

BETWWTS uses IQ software so if you took "Acti0n" online its because your player profile is set to be Action my suggestion is next time call in the bets if you are playing LP, or if you decide to go LP all the way in every single bet contact them and you set your acct that way.
