I have been happy with these knuckleheads up until their latest blunder. Even though it didnt cost me much money it still pisses me off..I will try to explain it as it is a little confusing. Here it goes. I have been betting northfield park all night tonite. Nothing big, just killing time to the nfl starts. Anyways, I bet race 2 lost, race 3 won, race 4 lost and race 5 won(or i thought!) I check my wager to see what it pays and it says i lost. It has it as race 4 1 horse to place 100.00.. Heres where it might get confusing. I bet race 4 (the one i lost) at 8:06, race went off around 8:09. I bet race 5 at 8:27 (race 5 went off at right around 8:29). I callup these dopes and they tell me it was graded that way because i bet race 4. I told them bullshit, i know what race i bet and if you check all my other bets you will see i always bet around 2 minutes before post (i watch the pools) and race 4 had been closed for 20 minutes. They said no i tried to bet race 4 then she stopped herself and said that the horse department had some "troubles" around that time. they will not grade it for me as she still insists i bet race 4. WTF???? I play pretty big money with them and am going to get the big lebowski over 150.00 win?? I tried to explain to her (to no avail as she has no clue) that 1. If you look at the pattern i bet it is easy to see that i bet race 5 as every wager was put in 3 minutes before post time of every race. 2. If i was "past posting" as they insinuated (20 minutes after the race) why the hell would i bet the 1 to place when the 1 horse in the 4th race ran 3rd???? This just pisses me off and they will be losing a customer over this..one with a big mouth and a good knowledge of the boards...unreal!!!

it just irks me that they insinuate i am trying to pull something then backtrack and say it was a problem they were having and not fix it...and then hang up on me after that...I am withdrawing my balance tomorrow. I may not be the biggest player but i put around 10,000 in action the last 2 days...just irks me

just to let wwts know i am lucky enough to have an attorney in the family and are sending off a certified letter of complaint to the a.s.i.c (the equalivent of the sec)who overlooks and regulates your listing on the australian exchange. I told the supervisor that even though it is a small amount i dont like being taken.It might not and will probably not cause any repurcussions but you never know.

a book like wwts will not go out of their way to try to screw you. its possible that there was a misunderstanding. if so they will fix it. cooler heads prevail. give general some time and don't threaten them that never makes anyone want to help you. your letter is worthless with a book that size and so many satisfied customers you might as well stay calm and know that if you in the right they will correct it. good luck
i tried to explain to them and the supervisor just couldnt comprehend what i was saying. All i can do is close my account and move on. the letter will probably not do anything but its being sent. My father in law explained to me that since i have what can be construed as a "deposit account" with wwts the asic will accept the complaint. whereas if they were a company that sold me a product or service it would not be looked into. I just dont like being taken advantage of and them insinuated of trying to bet a race that was over for 20 minutes( again, even though the horse i bet lost the 4th race)..
still waiting.... They have not answered any of my emails and have basically ripped me off. If they were in the right or had an explanation they would have posted it by now.. My account has been closed and my balance is being sent (at least i think it is) to me other then the money they took me for. This is a sad day knowing that a book as big wwts is not above pulling 3rd tier books tricks. They will never see another penny from me and there will be constant reminders on these boards of their b.s for a long time to come.
I agree with Happyday...had a dispute with them 3 years ago over a $200 play on the Miss-Miss St. egg bowl game.Said I had the loser when I bet the winner.Told them since they taped all the calls to go back and listen to the tape and gave them the exact time I placed the wager. They would'nt even listen to the tape just said it was their way or the highway. I took the highway right out of there and closed my account!
UNtil someone comes in here and disputes his facts, WWTS is in the wrong here! I mean it is not like it is a big bet!! $100 is not that much!!! The place price didnt pay that much!
