Keeping my bowl plays to a minimum this season. Looking for a few solid plays and it starts with the WV / Tex A&M over 67, weather permitting.

WV has a decent defense but not Tex A&M. Both offenses have shown flashes of being dangerous but have also fallen flat a few times this past season. But most importantly, these 2 coaches has had a history of lighting up the scoreboard in bowl games with some extra time to prep. With this total under 70, I have to jump on it.

Thoughts?

65 at heritage. Locked in at 66. Don't like the line dropping but I can't stay away from this one.

Two back up qb's scare me a little!

Even with the BU's, Neers finished 11th in total O, A&Sham 33rd. On the other side of the ball, Neers 59th and A&Sham 105th total D. What's to be scared of......there really is no boogie man, LOL. GL

Kyle Allen, aTm's QB was named the starter for the last 4 games of the season. He is starting today.

Wait.....both backups are in?

OMG Tits, you're kidding right??? Hill was benched, oh, two months ago, and Trickett went out three games ago. I'm sure he's referring to the fact that Allen and Howard will the the QB's which ain't gonna make a difference. GL

Both of these teams could not stop a good JUCO team. What makes people believe that they can stop each other? It may be a little chilly out there, but certaily no big deal. The only problem I have with both of these teams is questionable coaching, especially from the top.

WVU 3/9 O/U this year.

WVU's D allowed zero Touch Down Passes in the second half this year and their defense held Baylor to a season low 318 yards and held TCU to 389 yards.

The UNDER is 8-0 in West Virginia’s last eight games

Good luck.

Excellent points, and you can add A&M 4-7 O-U record to the mix. The only problem I have with this very good information is that this is a bowl game, and in many instances, the defenses simply do not show up in bowl games, ala Nebraska-USC, Boston College-Penn State, and Arizona State-Duke. You just never know.

Ace, that info is misleading. For instance, you mention Baylor. Hell, that total was set at 80! If you look at the total score in the games where both teams had an offense, 65 isn't squat in this game. Their totals were set above that number in half their games. Easy for Vegas to set totals in a conference game once patterns are set, this is a bowl game in which they're guessing, as we are of course. GL

Nevada/ULL 16-3
Utah St/UTEP 21-6
Utah/Col St 45-10
Navy/SD St 17-16
Fresno St/Rice 30-6
La Tech/Illinois 35-18
Va Tech/Cinn 33-17
Miami/So Car 24-21

The ASU/Duke game barely went over, thanks to 2 special teams plays that directly led to 14 points.

Making a blanket statement that defenses simply don't show up is just ridiculous. Sure, there are several high scoring games......you can find any sample of games and find some with high scores. Just as I've shown you several that weren't or went below the number.

Each game should be looked at on its own merit, not based on some theory that doesn't exist.
