WTF is UP with the NUMBERS on the BACKS of the REFS?????

I jsut saw a REF call a Foul int he PHX game,,, and the Cat had #14 on his back,,, what the FK is that????/ have any REFS numbers been RETIRED???? LOL I cant belive I am typing this,,,, LOL,,,,are there any HALL OF FAME REFS????

I know hte NBA Runs 3 Refs ona Court with 1 RESERVE on the SIDE,,,, Does the SR. REF have a LOWER #??? or a HIGHER NUMBER???

the Quaterback has a 10-19 number???? LOL so should the SR. REF have that number too???

anyone think of this before???

All officials, Umps, refs etc. have numbers in all of the 4 major sports. For identification purposes just like players.

Tate - all football refs have numbers along with the other 3 US team sports, Baseball, Basketball, and hockey. Tennis and soccer who knows?
