CYBER ATTACK: 12 countries targeted. Method: tool Shadow Brokers leaked in retaliation to Trump abandoning his base.

Don’t Forget Your Base – theshadowbrokers – Mediummedium.com

Don’t Forget Your Base

Dear President Trump,

Respectfully, what the fuck are you doing? TheShadowBrokers voted for you. TheShadowBrokers supports you. TheShadowBrokers is losing faith in you. Mr. Trump helping theshadowbrokers, helping you. Is appearing you are abandoning “your base”, “the movement”, and the peoples who getting you elected.

Good Evidence:

#1 — Goldman Sach (TheGlobalists) and Military Industrial Intelligence Complex (MIIC) cabinet
#2 — Backtracked on Obamacare
#3 — Attacked the Freedom Causcus (TheMovement)
#4 — Removed Bannon from the NSC
#5 — Increased U.S. involvement in a foreign war (Syria Strike)

The peoples whose voted for you, voted against the Republican Party, the party that tried to destroying your character in the primaries. The peoples who voted for you, voted against the Democrat Party, the party that hates, mocks, and laughs at you. Without the support of the peoples who voted for you, what do you think will be happening to your Presidency? Without the support of the people who voted for you, do you think you’ll be still making America great again? Do you be remembering when you were sitting there at the Obama Press Party and they were all laughing at you? Do you be remembering when you touring the country and all those peoples believed in you and supported you? You were those peoples hope. How do you be thinking it will be feeling when those people turn on you? Will they be laughing at you, hating you, and mocking you too?

TheShadowBrokers doesn’t want this to be happening to you, Mr. Trump. TheShadowBrokers is wanting to see you succeed. TheShadowBrokers is wanting America to be great again. TheShadowBrokers acknowledging, we don’t be having all the inside information you do, things might look different inside the bubble. TheShadowBrokers is having suggestion. Maybe you be making YouTube video is in order, to be explaining to your voters, your supporters, you didn’t fuck them all over. Because from theshadowbrokers seat is looking really bad. If you made deal(s) be telling the peoples about them, peoples is appreciating transparency. But what kind of deal can be resulting in chemical weapons used in Syria, Mr. Bannon’s removal from the NSC, US military strike on Syria, and successful vote for SCOTUS without change rules? Mr. Trump whose war are you fighting? Israeli Nationalists’ (Zionist) and Goldman Sachs’ war? Chinese Globalists’ and Goldman Sachs war? Is not looking like you fighting the domestic wars, the movement elected you to be fighting. You not being in office three months and already you looking like the MIIC’s bitch with John McCain and Chuck Schumer double dutch ruddering each other in the corner over dead corpses.

Mr Trump, we getting it. You having special empathy for father whose daughter is killed. We know this is root cause for anti-illegal immigrant policy. Illegal immigrant shoot man’s daughter in San Francisco. Now is Syrian man daughter killed by chemical gas. We agree its needless tragedy. But tragedies happening everyday and wars endangers all the children not just Syrian.

Mr President theshadowbrokers would like to be making some suggestion regarding why you were being elected, is just being friendly reminders.

Your Supporters:

- Don’t care what is written in the NYT, Washington Post, or any newspaper, so just ignore it.
- Don’t care if you swapped wives with Mr Putin, double down on it, “Putin is not just my firend he is my BFF”.
- Don’t care if the election was hacked or rigged, celebrate it “so what if I did, what are you going to do about it”.
- Don’t care if your popular or nice, get er done, Obama’s fail, thinking he could create compromise. No compromise.
- Don’t want foreign wars, Do want domestic wars, “drain the swamp”, “destroy the nanny state”
- Don’t care about your faith, you sound like a smuck when you try to say god things
- DO support the ideologies and policies of Steve Bannon, Anti-Globalism, Anti-Socialism, Nationalism, Isolationism

TheShadowBrokers is having some other suggestions.

Globalism
If Globalism is being so cool and awesome, why all the peoples come to only one country, American? Isn’t that being opposite of globalism? If globalism shouldn’t all peoples be staying in own countries and America be exporting culture and ideas to them? If cultures, beliefs, and philosophies of Africa, Asia, and India is being so cool and awesome, why isn’t everyone immigrating there? Because its not and they aren’t. European or Western Culture has proven is being best and most dominant, nothing to do with skin colors, white, brown, yellow, but is having to do with being red. No not red communism, red as in blood. European ancestors did the work, the thinking, the rebelling, the fighting, the killing, and the dying. Sometimes they being on rite side of history and sometimes not, but result is being great culture and society. “But, America is nation of immigrants!” Yes, but until 30 years ago most immigrants being Europeans. Jeudeo-Christian Europeans minor cultural differences. Don’t bring the world to America, bring America to the world. America first. English first. American workers first. American students first. American culture first.

White Privilege
Dear Americans, do you seek black privileged, reparation, and free shit? TheShadowBrokers is having program for you, is calling it the “Obama Ticket.” The U.S. government will be setting aside 1 Trillion, made up, borrowed from ourselves, debased Federal Reserve dollars to be sending any American resident, who wishes, regardless of skin color, on an all expense paid, permanent trip to Africa. Be telling your friends. Be telling your family. Be taking as many of them (friends and family) with you. Some condition be applying, accepting an Obama Ticket automatically revokes your Unites States citizenship, your are not being allow to return, for one generation, no exceptions. Call 1–800–555–1212

Socialist Collectivism
Africa not being for you. Do you liking socialism? Collectivism? Are all animals equal, but some animals more equal than others? Do you like wearing black? Then maybe the Socialist Workers Paradise of North Korea is for you. Please call the same number above and select menu option #2.

Russia
For peoples still being confused about TheShadowBrokers and Russia. If theshadowbrokers being Russian don’t you think we’d be in all those U.S. government reports on Russian hacking? TheShadowBrokers isn’t not fans of Russia or Putin but “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” We recognize Americans’ having more in common with Russians than Chinese or Globalist or Socialist. Russia and Putin are nationalist and enemies of the Globalist, examples: NATO encroachment and Ukraine conflict. Therefore Russia and Putin are being best allies until the common enemies are defeated and America is great again.

MAGA
President Trump, theshadowbrokers is offering our services to you and your administration. Did you know most of theshadowbrokers’ members have taken the oath “…to protect and defend the constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic…”. Yes sir! Most of us used to be TheDeepState everyone is talking about. But we realized TheDeepState is being the enemy of the constitution, individualism, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. With the right funding we can recruit some of the best hacker intel peoples in United States and world. “Unmasking” is being new buzz word, so we use. TheShadowBrokers is being happy to unmask anyone we considering to be an enemy of the Constitution of the United States. Enemies like John McCain. Something doesn’t rub theshadowbrokers rite about Vietnam War POW who at every opportunity seeks to do violence to others via the proxy of young service men and women. If anyone should be being pacifist, slow to pick fight it should be being former POW. TheShadowBrokers is sure if we “unmasking”, Senator McCain, Magog itself might come out, many defense contractors, Saudi Princes, and possibly little Vietnamese boy he shares with Senator Lindsey Graham, not cool! Mr. Trump we know you are having DOJ and FBI, so why you be needing theShadowBrokers? You don’t, but theshadowbrokers is confused. Why haven’t you served search warrant to NYT, Washington Post, Goldman Sacks, Jeff Bezos, and all other Globalist for investigation and prosecution of treason, sedition, and un-American activities during a time of war? The Alien and Sedition Act? A Un-American Activites commitee? Doing so, you could be seizing all their IT systems, freeze their financial assets, arrest key leadership. Every American is innocent until proven guilty and has the right to fair trial by jury, but investigation and trials take a really really long time and is being very difficult to run a business and make money for shareholder when FBI and DOJ has all your IT systems.

Mr. President Trump theshadowbrokers sincerely is hoping you are being the real deal and that you received this as constructive criticism toward #MAGA. Some American’s consider or maybe considering TheShadowBrokers traitors. We disagreeing. We view this as keeping our oath to protect and defend against enemies foreign and domestic. TheShadowBrokers wishes we could be doing more, but revolutions/civil wars taking money, time, and people. TheShadowBrokers has is having little of each as our auction was an apparent failure. Be considering this our form of protest. The password for the EQGRP-Auction-Files is CrDj”(;Va.*NdlnzB9M?@K2)#>deB7mN

But we’d still be happy to accept donations to further the cause. 19BY2XCgbDe6WtTVbTyzM9eR3LYr6VitWK

By Friday evening, the ransomware had spread to the United States and South America, though Europe and Russia remained the hardest hit, according to security researchers Malware Hunter Team. The Russian interior ministry says about 1,000 computers have been affected.
Markus Jakobsson, chief scientist with security firm Agari, said that the attack was “scattershot” rather than targeted.
“It’s a very broad spread,” Jakobsson said, noting that the ransom demand is “relatively small”.

The malware was made available online on 14 April through a dump by a group called Shadow Brokers, which claimed last year to have stolen a cache of “cyber weapons” from the National Security Agency (NSA). At the time, there was skepticism about whether the group was exaggerating the scale of its hack.
On Twitter, whistleblower Edward Snowden blamed the NSA.

“If @NSAGov had privately disclosed the flaw used to attack hospitals when they *found* it, not when they lost it, this may not have happened,” he said.
“It’s very easy for someone to say that, but the reality is the US government isn’t the only one that has a stockpile of exploits they are leveraging to protect the nation,” said Jay Kaplan, CEO of Synack, who formerly worked at the NSA.

“It’s this constant tug of war. Do you let intelligence agencies continue to take advantage of vulnerabilities to fight terrorists or do you give it to the vendors and fix them?”
The NSA is among many government agencies around the world to collect cyber weapons and vulnerabilities in popular operating systems and software so they can use them to carry out intelligence gathering or engage in cyberwarfare. The agency did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Ransomware is a type of malware that encrypts a user’s data, then demands payment in exchange for unlocking the data. This attack was caused by a bug called “WanaCrypt0r 2.0” or WannaCry, that exploits a vulnerability in Windows. Microsoft released a patch (a software update that fixes the problem) for the flaw in March, but computers that have not installed the security update remain vulnerable.

“This was eminently predictable in lots of ways,” said Ryan Kalember from cybersecurity firm Proofpoint. “As soon as the Shadow Brokers dump came out everyone [in the security industry] realized that a lot of people wouldn’t be able to install a patch, especially if they used an operating system like Windows XP [which many NHS computers still use], for which there is no patch.”
The ransomware demands users pay $300 worth of cryptocurrency Bitcoin to retrieve their files, though it warns that the “payment will be raised” after a certain amount of time. Translations of the ransom message in 28 languages are included. The malware spreads through email.
“Attacks with language support show a progressive increase of the threat level,” Jakobsson said.
The attack hit England’s National Health Service (NHS) on Friday, locking staff out of their computers and forcing some hospitals to divert patients.

“The attack against the NHS demonstrates that cyber-attacks can quite literally have life and death consequences,” said Mike Viscuso, chief techology officer of security firm Carbon Black. “When patients’ lives are at stake, there is no time for finger pointing but this attack serves as an additional clarion call that healthcare organizations must make cybersecurity a priority, lest they encounter a scenario where lives are risked.”

Jakobsson said that the concentration of the attack in Russia suggested that the attack originated in Russia. Since the malware spreads by email, the level of penetration in Russia could be a sign that the criminals had access to a large database of Russian email addresses.
However, Jakobsson warned that the origin of the attack remains unconfirmed.

[h=2]NHS is hit by large-scale cyber attack with patients turned away and operations cancelled in hospitals across Britain as hackers take over computers and demand cash not to wipe out records[/h]
article-4500080-403E4FD400000578-645_964x552.jpg
The NHS has been hit by an 'unprecedented' hack that has shut down computers and cut off phone lines in a cyber attack that could 'endanger lives', doctors said today. Hackers have taken control of computers in at least 40 NHS Trusts across the country including Lister Hospital in Stevenage (bottom right). It means doctors cannot access patients' files which are stored online. Messages popped up on computers this afternoon which said 'oops, your files have been encrypted' and demanded a ransom of £230 to regain access to the PC otherwise the files would be wiped forever. Some NHS Trusts can't carry out emergency MRI and CT scans and have turned off all their IT systems, reverting to using pen and paper as hundreds of non-urgent operations have been delayed. One doctor at Colchester General Hospital said screens were 'wiped out one by one' while another described a matron running around frantically yelling: 'Turn off your computers'.

The NHS has been hit by a major cyber attack hitting computers, phones and emergency bleepers in hospitals and GP surgeries - and pop-ups like this one have appeared demanding a ransom

Staff members in some hospitals have been told to keep all computers turned off for the weekend as some chemotherapy patients are sent home because their records cannot not be accessed.
There are major concerns about new patients being admitted overnight and staff members not being aware of allergies and past medical history because they cannot see records online.
NHS Digital says there is no evidence that patient data has been accessed in the attack. It comes as:

 • The worldwide attack affects thousands of computers across organisations in 74 countries;
 • Prime Minister Theresa May said that British hospitals had not been deliberately targeted and that an investigation is underway;
 • Nicola Sturgeon held a so-called resilience meeting after at least eight of Scotland's 14 health boards were affected;
 • Patients are advised to 'think very carefully' about going in to A&E and ring 111 for urgent medical advice instead;
 • NHS Digital, which runs the computer systems, said its advice to hospitals is not to pay the ransom;
 • It was claimed the hackers may have taken advantage of a chink in the armour of the Microsoft system revealed by a WikiLeaks dump of CIA documents.
One anonymous doctor at a major trauma center in London wrote online: 'Everything has gone down. No blood results, no radiology images, there's no group specific blood available.

Medics have claimed that messages are flashing up on screens saying they must pay cash or terminals are down completely

'They've declared an internal major incident, the hospital is diverting major trauma and stroke patients. All elective surgery was cancelled from about 1pm. We're not doing anything in theatre that's not life or limb threatening.'
It is not known who carried out the attack. Theorised culprits range from the Chinese government to a 13-year-old in his bedroom.
In a message that pops up on screens, the hackers demand 300 US dollars (£230) in the virtual currency bitcoins to relinquish control of each hacked PC.
The pop-up contains a countdown clock with a deadline of next Friday.
It is not clear how many computers were affected but if all of the NHS's 1.4 million employees were affected, the health service would have to hand over £326million.
At least 10 payments of around 300 US dollars have been made to bitcoin accounts that the hackers have asked to be paid this afternoon.
But, although all Bitcoin transactions are public, it cannot be see who made the payments.
'Non urgent' appointments and operations have been postponed across the country and some hospitals have diverted ambulances to neighbouring ones to ensure patient safety.
Patrick Ward, who had booked hotels for his family members to stay near him in London, had his heart operation at Barts Hospital cancelled due to the attack.

Anthony Brett was about to have a stent put in his liver to treat his cancer when he was told the procedure could not happen.
The 50-year-old from Bow, east London, said: 'I was about to have the operation but then the doctors came round this morning and said all the computers are down because of all the hacking and the procedure can't be done because they can't access my records.

'There are so many corporations out there they could be getting money from, but to do it to the NHS that does so much good for people, it's just disgusting.
'It's very frustrating, I have to be away from my family over the weekend. I've got to stay in now over the weekend. But they have got a bed for me which is good.'
Computer systems have been switched off or immobilised and key services including the bleeper system for doctors are also believed to be down.
In the minutes after the attack one doctor tweeted: 'Massive NHS hack cyber attack today. Hospital in shut down. Thanks for delaying emergency patient care & endangering lives. A******s'.
NHS Digital, which is responsible for the health service's cyber security, says computer systems are believed to have been hit by a ransomware cyber attack using malware called 'Wanna Decryptor'.
A similar attack was launched on a hospital in Los Angeles, US last year. Bosses paid £13,140 to get their computer systems back in accordance with general FBI advice to pay up.
The National Cyber Security Centre is investigating and is working with Britain's FBI - the National Crime Agency.
Hours after news of the cyber attacks broke, a Microsoft spokesman revealed that customers who were running the company's free antivirus software and who had enabled Windows updates were 'protected' from the attack.
It raises questions about why NHS computers using the operating system were not shielded from the ransomware.

Some hospitals said they were forced to divert emergencies on Friday after a suspected national cyber attack.

The Microsoft spokesman said: 'Today our engineers added detection and protection against new malicious software known as Ransom:Win32.WannaCrypt.
'In March, we provided a security update which provides additional protections against this potential attack.
'Those who are running our free antivirus software and have Windows updates enabled, are protected.
'We are working with customers to provide additional assistance.'
Prime Minister Theresa May said that British hospitals had not been deliberately targeted in a cyber attack that had encompassed a number of different countries.
'This was not targeted at the NHS, it's an international attack and a number of countries and organisations have been affected,' May said.
'We're aware that a number of NHS (National Health Service) organisations have reported that they've suffered from a ransomware attack.'
'We're not aware of any evidence that patient data has been compromised.'
[h=3]OUR SCREENS WERE 'WIPED OUT ONE BY ONE'[/h]A shocked worker at Colchester General Hospital described how her office's computers were 'wiped out, one by one'.
She said: 'My computer locked at about 3pm and I couldn't get anything to work. Then my colleague sat next to me said her computer was down.
'It swept through the office and everyone was effected and didn't know what was going on. One by one the computers were wiped out.
'Nothing was working and switching them off and on did not solve the problems.

The NHS has been hit by a major cyber attack and criminals have taken control of computers and cut off phone lines across England, leaving some departments working with pen and paper

'Some of our colleagues from a neighbouring department came in and they'd been told to unplug their internet cables and await further instruction.'
The health worker said the effect of such a hack on modern hospitals would be catastrophic because 'all the doctors' notes' are kept on the computers now.
'They record their notes to a dictaphone during a consultation but that's only so the the notes can be typed up and stored on the computer.
'It's very worrying that the impact has been so far-reaching in such a short space of time.'
A Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust spokesman, which runs Colchester General, confirmed patients are being warned to told to avoid A&E where possible.
Patients are being warned that all non-urgent activity is being postponed.

The attack came as several companies in Spain were hit by ransomware attacks. Telecoms firm Telefonica was one of those reporting problems.

The NHS is investigating 'an issue with IT' amid reports of a cyber attack on its systems

GP surgeries hit in the attack say their phones are down and patients should avoid calling unless 'absolutely necessary' and doctors are back to using pen and paper in some areas.
Explaining the fallout one doctor said in a message shared on Twitter: 'So our hospital is down. We got a message saying your computers are now under their control and pay a certain amount of money. And now everything is gone.'
A screenshot obtained by the Health Service Journal (HSJ) purported to show the pop-up that appeared on at least one of the computers affected.
It said: 'Your important files are encrypted. Maybe you are busy looking for a way to recover your files, but do not waste your time.
'Nobody can recover your files without our decryption service.'
It goes on to demand payment, otherwise the files will be deleted. It gives a deadline of next Friday afternoon, May 19, to pay.

East and North Herts NHS Trust issued this warning to patients on their website

The HSJ said services affected were thought include archiving systems for X-rays, pathology test results, phone and bleep systems, and patient admin systems.
Barts NHS Trust in east London said they are treating it as a 'major incident' to ensure they can 'maintain the safety and welfare of patients'.
A spokesman said: 'We are experiencing a major IT disruption and there are delays at all of our hospitals.
'Ambulances are being diverted to neighbouring hospitals. The problem is also affecting the switchboard at Newham hospital but direct line phones are working.
'All our staff are working hard to minimise the impact and we will post regular updates on the website'.
Fylde and Wyre NHS Trust and Blackpool Hospitals in Lancashire, East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust have admitted having problems. Colchester University Hospitals Trust is also a victim as is neighbouring Chelmsford in Essex.
[h=3]WHAT IS RANSOMWARE?[/h]Ransomware is a type of malicious software that criminals use to attack computer systems.
Hackers often demand the victim to pay ransom money to access their files or remove harmful programmes.
The aggressive attacks dupe users into clicking on a fake link – whether it's in an email or on a fake website, causing an infection to corrupt the computer.
In some instances, adverts for pornographic website will repeatedly appear on your screen, while in others, a pop-up will state that a piece of your data will be destroyed if you don't pay.

In the case of the NHS attack, the ransomware used was called Wanna Decryptor or 'WannaCry' Virus.
The WannaCry virus targets Microsoft's widely used Windows operating system.
The virus encrypts certain files on the computer and then blackmails the user for money in exchange for the access to the files.
It leaves the user with only two files: Instructions on what to do next and the Wanna Decryptor program itself.
When opened the software tells users that their files have been encrypted and gives them a few days to pay up or their files will be deleted.
It can quickly spread through an entire network of computers in a business or hospital, encrypting files on every PC.

York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust which runs York and Scarborough hospitals has confirmed its computers have been affected by the widespread attack.
They have urged people to be patient and avoid calling GP surgeries and hospitals unless 'absolutely necessary'.
NHS Merseyside said: 'Following a suspected national cyber attack we are taking all precautionary measures possible to protect our local NHS systems and services'.
NHS Lanarkshire said only those patients requiring emergency treatment should attend hospital while they dealt with the issue on Friday.
At least eight of Scotland's 14 health boards have reported some level of disruption as a result of the attack.
Scottish Health Secretary Shona Robison said: 'We are aware of a number of health boards affected by potential cyber incidents.

'Scottish Government health officials are currently working closely with affected boards to assess the extent of the problem, and take steps to isolate affected systems, which have been affected by a ransomware cyber attack of the kind which has also affected health trusts in NHS England.
'We are taking immediate steps to minimise the impact of the attack across NHS Scotland and restrict any disruption.'
NHS Lanarkshire urged non-emergency patients to stay away from its hospitals as it dealt with a ransomware attack to its IT network.
It said in a statement: 'As a precaution, NHS Lanarkshire is closing down its non-essential networked IT systems on a temporary basis.
'All our sites remain open, however we are appealing to members of the public only to attend hospital for emergency treatment during this period.'

Global cyber-attack: Security blogger halts ransomware 'by accident'

By Chris FoxxTechnology reporter

A 22-year-old UK security researcher has told the BBC how he "accidentally" halted the spread of ransomware affecting hundreds of organisations, including the UK's NHS.The man, known online as MalwareTech, was analysing the code behind the ransomware on Friday night when he made his discovery.
He first noticed the software was trying to contact an unusual web address - iuqerfsodp9ifjaposdfjhgosurijfaewrwergwea.com - but this was not connected to a website, because nobody had registered it.

So, every time the ransomware tried to contact this mysterious website, it failed - and set about doing damage.
So the blogger decided to spend $10.69 (£8) to claim the web address. By owning this web address, he could also access analytical data and get an idea of how widespread the ransomware was.

Image captionOwning the web address let MalwareTech monitor where infections were happeningBut he later realised that registering the web address had also stopped the ransomware trying to spread itself.
"It was actually partly accidental," he told the BBC, after spending the night investigating. "I have not slept a wink."
[h=2]What happened?[/h]Originally it was suggested that whoever created the ransomware had included a "kill switch" - a way of stopping it from spreading, perhaps if things got out of hand.
In this case, the act of registering the mysterious web address would trigger the kill switch.
But the blogger MalwareTech now thinks it was not a kill switch. He thinks it was a way of detecting whether the ransomware was being investigated within a secured, disposable environment that researchers use to inspect viruses. This is known as a "virtual machine".
"The [ransomware] exits to prevent further analysis," MalwareTech wrote in a blog post.
"My registration... caused all infections globally to believe they were inside a [virtual machine] and exit…thus we initially unintentionally prevented the spread and further ransoming of computers."
The researcher has been called an "accidental hero" for slowing the spread of the ransomware.
"I would say that's correct," he told the BBC.
[h=2]Does this mean the ransomware is defeated?[/h]While the registration of the web address appears to have stopped one strain of the malware spreading, it does not mean the ransomware itself has been defeated.
Any files that were scrambled by the ransomware will still be held to ransom.
Security experts have also warned that new variants of the ransomware that ignore the "kill switch" will appear.
"This variant shouldn't be spreading any further, however there'll almost certainly be copycats," said security researcher Troy Hunt in a blog post.
MalwareTech warned: "We have stopped this one, but there will be another one coming and it will not be stoppable by us.
"There's a lot of money in this, there is no reason for them to stop. It's not much effort for them to change the code and start over."
