Lets say a Gallon Gas cost $4

if you spend $50 at store A and you get 2 gallons of gas the total cost food/gas = $58 now........

if you need to spent $55/$60 at store B for same order that cost $50 at store A to save 10 cent a gallon then the total cost for 2 gallons of gas/food = $62.80/$67.80

10 gallons you'd save $1.00 but the question is how much will it cost you......

what i don't get is as price per barrel increase, prices raise faster than a horny penis. yet, when prices fall,
prices are flat or move very little. so, the net factor is as new base is set prices don't go below that level; movement only goes one direction, up!!!!!

You know what the big joke is? It might be true that one refinery had a fire, and another refinery had some other problems, but that doesn't affect ALL oil companies. This is called "price fixing", and the CA. Attorney General is looking into the matter. It's time to get tough on these rat bastards, and make them pay up for their monopoly. Only problem is even if the state fines them mucho denaro, the money isn't returned to the public....it goes to the state. The public loses no matter what happens. Only if the attorney general tells the oil companies that they have to reduce the price of gas to compensate the public for what we were overcharged, will there be any justice.....and that won't happen!

You're right. This whole thing smells like another ENRON scandal to me. No way the forces of supply & demand in a free market would put the prices this high. Fact is the oil companies are screwing us.

Page 731 (7/31) bump

After dropping by 13 cents last week, gas prices in South Central Ohio reversed and increased 12 cents this week to $2.800 per gallon according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
