A-Rod is not a winner. He leaves Seattle and the next year they win 116 games. After 3 last place years in Texas, he leaves and then Texas immediately becomes a contender and almost wins the division. Now A-Rod is a Yankee and he has failed on more than one occassion in this series. Game 5 8th inning, A-Rod up, man on 3rd, one out, Yanks leading 4-2. If A-Rod gets that run in, the series is all but over. He whiffs. I have a feeling the Yanks are going down the toilet with A-Rod leading the way.
First of all it is not about the arguing.
I played both college and high school ball for a brief time, and never once was told that it was ok to blatently interfere with the ball. In fact I was told the opposite. You have to understand that there is a lot more at risk than there is to gain. A player could face being benched, or even worse a game being played under protest.
When I went out on the field, I tried to win fair and square, not by cheating.
