Well, I know know one here knows me. Hell I don't think I've even posted here before. But I have been checking the forums here for some time.

What bothers me is the way the CBB forum has been going. It seems that I used to get insightful intellegent discussion about the games. All I ever see anymore is arogent bastards that are only on here for for glory. What glory is that I'm not sure unless they're running a tout service.

But for whatever reason, I find myself not looking here much anymore because the quality of information has gone down hill so much. Between the arguing and bragging, not much is being accomplished. So anyway, why not simply post your record at the begining of your thread,
i.e.

Topic: My Thursday Picks

Aloha Tiggy, first, their are others here who has share alot of useful information. I for one did today on the Hawaii vs Boise St game. I gave out this info so that people would at least be aware of things before blindly betting a game, or just blindly following someones picks. But I do agree on some extent, that there are others who dont share relavenat info on things, especially when asked. Instead they give responses like dont worry, or trust me , or they get offended when asked. Thats not good. But on the other hand, there are those that simply ask questions just to irritate some posters. Put it this way, their agenda is not to help or to inform, or to start a meaningful debate. It is just to question. Thats not good.

Next, can you be specific on who you are talking about that seems to be bragging, arguing , or all the people you say are on here acting arrogant. Can you at least start us off with some names of whom you are referring to . I think that you are being unfair when you just label all here in those categories. Please feel free to express your self specifically.

Lastly, as far as posting in a particular way, it is not that easy to get others to follow a particular format. Many people have different methods of doing things. How do you suggest getting everyone to follow your suggestions. I see your template on the bottom of your post. Thats good, if everyone can and will do it. Why dont you start it off, hopefully more will follow your lead. GL and Aloha CC.

Co-Captain, I'm sorry if I made a reference to the whole. I guess I did. It just seems that there is so much time and space being taken up by people with egos and bad attitudes. I find you to be one of, if not the top capper on this site. And I appreciate everything you bring to the forum. I guess I was just thinking about the whole Make$$$ thing and then I was reading the cappthespread thread. It just seems that that sorta thing is growing. Maybe not. I don't mean to disrespect what the serious cappers here are doing. It just seems that compared to other forums, this one as a whole on CBB, seems to being on the down grade.

Well, I appreciate your confidence in me. I would like to also state that their are alot of other guys here who I respect very much, as well, in their abilities. Those guys dont mind at all sharing info, answering questions, or giving support to others. As long as you are seriously wanting their help or need some info. You know, that is what this place is for, to help out and be helped out. Still, like any other place, there is going to be those who are on a different wavelength and have a different agenda. No matter how much times we say it, that we are in a battle against the books and not eachother, some just rather fight eachother. I think, what you should do is what I did when I first came here. It took some time, but it was worth the work finding them. What I did was ask alot of questions trying to find out the answers to my questions. I also watched who was focused on beating the books and thats it. I also looked for who was willing to share freely of himself with others. I also watched who supported others whether they won or lost. You can tell alot about a person by the way he carries himself and acts to others, especially in the face of defeat, and more so in victory. I think taking the time to find these people payed off for me in finding the true quality cappers. Its hard enough capping games out day in and day out. For those who like to continue to make trouble and bash others, it tells me alot about their abilities and seriousness in beating the Man. I mean, after a day like yesterday where you have such a large card, how do you find the energy to do that kind of things. Get my meaning. Just try and avoid the BS threads and continue searching for the quality guys. I post at two other sites like this , and this kind of thing is at all of them. But what I did, was not to let myself get caught up in it. Sometimes I am not successful in doing it, but still it is an important thing that I try to remember to do. Negativity spreads negativity. Stay away and seek out the company of Positive people, and you'll most likely get positive results. JMO. GL to you and Aloha CC.

Very good points CC and that's what I have been trying to do. You mentioned that you post on two other sites, and I follow one of thoes sites closely. And while the things I were refering to do happen occasionally, they just seem to happen on here more often. Like I said, I don't mean to disrespect the serious people on here. I guess my problem lies more with moderators not taking care of these sort of things more quickly. Aloha to you too mate!

Sammy, balance in life is very important, whether you do good or bad. Balance is needed for everyone. You said what you felt, and then you reflected on yourself and felt not to anymore. You went one way, then you chose to go the other way. Thats balance and that is OK. What is not ok is the way some want to continue on one path, and its usually the negative one. I to am like you, as hypocrites also get me wound up, and yes organized religion is one of them, but your right lets avoid that one completely. Anyway, right now, after today, all I have left in me cause I am so totally exhausted, is peace ,love ,and happiness, lol.
