WTF happened to the Amricans? Both relay teams DQ'd?

Just woke up and see both USA teams got DQ'd in in the first round of the 4x100 relay. WTF happened?

I guess now Jamaica has no competition for two more golds.

The mens team couldnt get the last handoff, gay apparently never got the batton cant tell whos fault it was. Darvis Patton was the 3rd leg.

Jamacia is nasty anyway, they were heavy favorites before this and Bolt is not on the team.

Overall the USA track and field was a disappointment. Did they still get tons of medals and do great? Yes, but more was expected. Gay was supposed to challenge for the 100m and didn't even reach the finals. The women didn't even get a medal in the 100m. Neither relay team will get a medal either. Not a disastrous Olympics on the track, but not what was projected for the Americans.

Hard to believe the women dropped it again. Maybe they need to start sticking it up their ass from now on so they learn to hang onto it in 2012. Talk about a lack of focus...pathetic. Almost as bad as our boxing, wrestling, and weightlifting teams. Weak....very weak.
